Pudding Monsters is the latest game from the creators of the hit Cut the Rope series of games. It’s a 2D puzzle solving game that has wonderful little pudding monsters that you have to join together to form one large pudding monster.

Ouya announces ten upcoming titles for the console

Earlier this month, we talked about the Ouya console being ready to start shipping out to developers and Kickstarter backers. Now it’s time to talk about some of the games.

ZeptoLab, creators of the popular Cut the Rope and Cut the Rope: Experiments games, have now released a brand new game for iOS and Android, called Pudding Monsters.

The objective of the game is to combine the adorable little Pudding Monsters by sliding them around and sticking them together and forming a Mega Monster to complete the level. The game uses the same lovable animation style with cutesy but beautiful graphics that we saw with the Cut the Rope games. Read more »

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City is the sixth game in the infamous Grand Theft Auto series of open world action games. The game was originally released on the PC and the consoles back in 2002.

Now, ten years later, Rockstar has ported the game over to iOS and Android. The Android version had a few hiccups out of the gate but since then things have been sorted. We decided to take a trip down the Vice City streets to see how the game holds up after ten years. Read more »

Angry Birds Space and Star Wars coming to Windows Phone 7.5, original Angry Birds gets a birthday update

Rovio has just announced its latest Angry Birds installments will be released for the older generation Windows Phone devices. Angry Birds Space and Angry Birds Star Wars will be hitting the WP7 Store any moment now. Meanwhile, the original Angry Birds title will be getting an update to celebrate its third birthday.

Both games will be compatible with all Windows Phone 7.5 or later running smartphones, no matter their specs. Rovio says Nokia helped bring the games to those that only have 256 MB of RAM. Read more »

Valve working on a gaming PC for the living room

We have reported in the past that Valve, creators of the popular game distribution service Steam, is now planning on entering the hardware segment.

It wasn’t clear what this hardware would be like but in a recent interview with Kotaku, Valve co-founder Gabe Newell confirmed that Valve is working on a living room PC that will offer a console like experience and will compete with the PlayStation and the Xbox. Read more »

‘Splice’ for Android game review

Splice, as the developer likes to call it, is an experimental and artistic puzzler. The game has been out on the iPad, Steam and Mac App Store for a while but made its Android debut through the Humble Bundle 4 for Android.

Archos releases 7-inch Android-based GamePad

Archos has released its latest Android tablet, called the GamePad. As you can tell, the device has been optimized for gaming and as such comes with a full set of physical controls besides the display.

Of course, simply having the controls isn’t going to help. The games need to be able to use these controls, without which the whole thing would be pointless. This is where Archos’ mapping tool comes into play. Read more »

Rockstar has released the 10th Anniversary Edition of their popular Grand Theft Auto: Vice City game on iOS and Android. The game is available on the App Store and Google Play for $4.99.

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City for mobile is the exact same game that you may have enjoyed ten years ago on a console or a PC. The graphics have been updated with today’s mobile devices in mind, which means the game you will be playing today will be running at a higher resolution compared to what it did on the PS2 all those years ago. ‘Predators’ for Android game review

Predators is a hack and slash action game based on the movie that came out back in 2010. It’s not a particularly new game, though, because the iOS version came out back in 2010 along with the movie.

As it often happens in the mobile world, the Android version is late, more than two years late this time. Still, it’s finally here and since the iOS version of the game was well received back when it came out we decided to take the Android version for a spin and see how it fares. Read more »

OUYA developer units to ship on December 28

The Kickstarter funded Android-based game console OUYA has gone from being just an idea to an actual product in the past few months. Now the creators of this console are ready to start shipping out the developer consoles to those who backed the Kickstarter project.

The first OUYA units will start shipping on December 28 and will reach in the next couple of days. These will be running an early version of the hardware and software and are meant for developers to create their games for OUYA. Read more »
