Detailed Nintendo Wii U specs leak, official pricing revealed as well

The Nintendo Wii U, the successor of the highly successful Wii, has been officially announced with pricing and a launch date for Japan. Later today there will be a Nintendo event where they’ll reveal the worldwide launch plans. The exact specs of the new game console are still not clear though.

Super Hexagon started life as a Flash game on a website. Created by Terry Cavanagh, known for making sadistic games such as VVVVVV, Super Hexagon has you pushing just two buttons but pulling out many, many hair.

Gameloft releases new trailer for Wild Blood

Gameloft has released a new trailer for their upcoming hack and slash action game based on the Unreal Engine.

Wild Blood is a third person action game based in the medieval times and follows the story of Sir Lancelot. The trailer shows off the expected impressive graphics along with some exciting combat elements. Archos GamePad combines 7″ Android ICS tablet with hardware gaming controls

Archos has put Android to use into some unusual devices (e.g. a home phone and an alarm clock), but now it has turned its attention to mobile gaming with the Archos GamePad. The GamePad has a 7″ screen (though details like resolution are missing right now) and a set of hardware controls.

The tablet is powered by a dual-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz and a quad-core Mali-400 GPU. The OS is Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, which has built-in support for game controllers, but Archos has also included a technology that automatically maps the game inputs on the hardware controls and claim it supports over a thousand currently available games. Plants vs. Zombies sequel coming in spring of 2013

PopCap Games, the popular game developer and now an EA-owned company, has announced today that we’re in for a sequel of Plants Vs. Zombies, coming in late spring next year.

PvZ is one of the best known mobile games on Android and iOS (among others) and probably the most popular lane tower defense game ever. Its gameplay revolves around fending off hordes of hilariously quirky, awkward-dressed, zombies with a large selection of sharp-shooting plants. Read more »
