The Samsung Galaxy S4 comes with support for the MHL 2.0 standard, which aside from streaming high definition content to your TV or monitor set can also allow the external screen to charge the smartphone along the way. The Galaxy S4 is the first smartphone to offer the MHL 2.0 standard, which means that you no longer need to plug in a charger in your adapter.

OtterBox, the popular case maker has confirmed that the company will be bringing its Defender, Commuter and Reflex cases to the Samsung Galaxy S4, which was announced yesterday. The hard covers will be available in different shades as well.

LG has officially launched special cases called the Quick Covers, for its Optimus G pro phablet, which was unveiled at the recently concluded Mobile World Congress.
LG’s latest accessory for its flagship device is said to be inspired by Apple’s Smart Cover. The Quick Cover for LG Optimus G Pro uses a magnetic material and automatically turns on the screen, when opened and shuts it down when closed. Read more »
A growing number of smartphones support wireless charging and we’ve seen a number of dock designs. There doesn’t seem to be a whole lot of excitement about the technology among consumers though. Maybe LG’s world’s smallest wireless charging station can do something about it.
The LG WCP-300 has circular shape with a 7cm diameter (2.8”) and is based on Qi, which is the most popular wireless charging standard at the moment. The LG-built Nexus 4 supports it, as do the Optimus G Pro, Vu II and LTE2 (Nokia’s Lumia phones also use this standard). Read more »
