Microsoft has already added the Xbox One original accessories to its Store. If you want to opt for a second Xbox One Wireless Controller you can get one for $60 in the USA or €60 in the EU.

The Finnish extreme over-clockers “The Stilt” have set a new world record for clock speed. Using the AMD A10-6800K Richland APU, the guys managed to reach 8.2 GHz clock speed.

The AMD flagship chip was mounted on an ASUS F2A85-V Pro board and with the help of liquid nitrogen, the enthusiasts managed to reach a voltage of 2,008 volts and resulted in a core clock speed of 8,000.48MHz with its bus clock reading 126.99MHz. Read more »

Apple to look into iPhone 5 electric shock death in China

We have been hearing reports about a woman’s death in China caused by an electric shock while answering a phone call on her iPhone 5. Now Apple has chipped in, saying it will be fully investigating the issue and will be co-operating with the authorities, according to a report from Bloomberg.

Built by Lehmann Aviation the LA300 is a drone, to which the Lumia 1020 attaches, that can fly as high as 15 kilometers (that’s about 9.3 miles for you Imperial users), for as long as 30 minutes, at speeds of 20-80 km/h (12/49 MPH) and will withstand temperatures between -25 °C up to +60 °C (-13 °F to 140 °F). Foxconn posts 2Q 2013 revenue of $30 billion, up 0.6 % YoY

Foxconn, the world’s largest electronics contract manufacturer has posted its financial report for the second quarter of the year and surprisingly, the revenues have surpassed the estimates and the company has managed to generate $30 billion.

The second-quarter revenue of Foxconn is up by 0.6% over the same period a year ago. Foxconn saw its revenue decline by 19.2% decline in its revenue for the first quarter of 2013 due to the decline in the iPhone orders from Apple. Read more »

Google to retire Latitude on August 9

Google Latitude will be officially retiring on August 9. Related products in Google Maps for Android, Latitude for iPhone, the Latitude API, the public badge, the iGoogle Gadget and the Latitude website will no longer be available in a month.

The retirement of Google Latitude means that you will no longer be able to share your location using the latitude and Google hasn’t included latitude as a feature in its latest version of Google Maps for Android. Nokia puts 200 Lumia 820 units together to make an impressive video wall

Nokia may have just snatched a Guinness record away from Sony – for the video wall made up of most smartphones. Using 200 Nokia Lumia 820 phones, Nokia Developer Champion Rudy Huyn created the installation and showcased it at the Microsoft BUILD conference. Sony’s wall was made up of 196 Xperia ZL phones.

The phones were arranged in 8 rows of 25 phones and were all controlled from a single Lumia phone. Together, they showed an animated display of live tiles for a selection of Windows Phone apps and also an interactive map with Bing Maps. Read more »
