Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G lit its way through our studio

In case you were wondering like me, the answer is no – Samsung are not done churning out versions of the two-year old Galaxy S. The latest one is a U.S. bound, T-Mobile exclusive version, which goes by the rather long name Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G.

22nm Intel Valley View Atom specs leaks, to bring a four-fold increase in graphics

With all the effort focused on ultrabooks and ULV processors like Sandy Bridge, the Intel Atom lineup has hardly been having the best of times recently. However, a leaked presentation indicates that we might not have seen the last of the super power-efficient chipsets.

The next generation of Atoms, codenamed Valley View, will be using 22nm process and will reportedly be coming out next year. It will have an architecture similar to Cedar Trail, but with Ivy Bridge graphics. Read more »

The advertisement presents the inner workings of the Xperia S through the eyes of children when asked how they think the device works. And the results are robots. Many of them.

News posted on the official Xbox Live Arcade games blog hints at an imminent announcement of an arcade version of Minecraft.

The upcoming edition will be called Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition (I know, we were shocked, too) in order to distinguish it from the PC game. To celebrate the upcoming announcement, playxbla.com is giving away two custom Minecraft Xbox 360s, although when and under what conditions is still up in the air.

More rumors on the upcoming Galaxy S III have hit the mill and the latest one suggest that the next Samsung flagship will be using wireless charging, rather than the conventional microUSB charging.

According to DDaily, the back of the device will integrate all the elements needed for wireless charging and you won’t even have to place the smartphone on a charging pad. Rumor has it that it will work even with the Galaxy S III located as far away as two meters from it. Read more »

Samsung releases the source code for the Galaxy S II ICS kernel

If you like running custom ROMs on your Galaxy S II or even better creating those yourself, you’d be glad to know that Samsung just released the source code for its ICS kernel of its yet-to-be-replaced flagship.

The code of the updated kernel that started seeding last week (that we also reviewed in detail) is now available to download from the Samsung servers. This will enable the indie dev community to create more elaborate mods, using the official Samsung drivers and even pieces of the code when need occurs. Read more »

Galaxy Note helps solving crimes in this fan-made short movie

Samsung does a great of job of constantly flooding the internet with as many Galaxy Note ads as possible. This not only raises awareness of their product, but also, it seems, inspires creatives around the world to do their own short movies highlighting the Note’s features.
