NVIDIA announces GeForce GTX 770 GPU for $399

NVIDIA announced its newest GeForce GTX 770 GPU, which is the slightly more affordable version of the GTX 780 we saw last week.

The GeForce GTX 770 is based on the NVIDIA Kepler architecture for superior gaming performance. It features 1,536 cores and either 4GB or 2GB of high speed 7 Gbps GDDR5 RAM. Read more »

Rayman Jungle Run now available on Windows Phone 8

One of the best mobile games on the market has now made its way to the Windows Phone platform. Ubisoft has released a version of Rayman Jungle Run for Windows Phone 8, which is now available on the store for $2.99.

We reviewed the game when it was first released on iOS and Android last year and found it to be absolutely phenomenal in every possible way. The game has challenging but incredibly exciting gameplay and combines it with gorgeous visuals and a peppy soundtrack. If you’re a Windows Phone 8 users and were feeling a bit left out of the action, this game will surely keep you busy for a while. Read more »

The Humble Indie Bundle 8 gives you five great games for an amount of your choice

Real Racing 3 set to receive a Dubai-themed update soon, will let you race at the Dubai Autodrome

The popular racing game Real Racing 3 is about to get a major update dubbed simply The Dubai Update. As you’ve already guessed by now, racing will take place in Dubai, and more specifically at the Dubai Audorome.

EA announces Need for Speed Rivals

Fans of Need for Speed, rejoice. EA has announced the next game in the long running series of arcade racers, Need for Speed Rivals. As with some of the previous games, Rivals will feature both street racers as well as the cops trying to catch them and as a player you will get to play on either side of the law.

Call of Duty: Ghosts trailer and behind the scenes video released

Yesterday, we didn’t just get to see the unveiling of the Xbox One but also of the next game in the popular Call of Duty franchise: Call of Duty: Ghosts. Activision was present at the Microsoft event to provide a behind the scenes look at the new game as well as for the world premier of the Ghosts trailer.

Call of Duty: Ghosts is a departure from the previous Call of Duty games and features completely new characters and story. You play as a member of Ghosts, a super elite team of highly trained soldiers formed from the remnants of the US military forces. Microsoft Xbox One goes official, will hit the shelves before the year’s end

Microsoft officially took the wraps off its latest gaming console dubbed Xbox One. The console will be available later this year for a yet to be revealed price tag.

We have talked about the upcoming Batman: Arkham Origins game before. The third installment in the new Batman series of games, Arkham Origins takes place way before the events of the first two games and features a much younger Batman. The game is also made by Warner Bros. Games Montreal instead of Rocksteady Studios who made the first two games.

In this new game trailer, we see Batman getting up close and personal with one of the game’s antagonists, Deathstroke. Eventually, you also see the other two villains in the game, Deadshot and Black Mask. Black Mask is the main adversary in this game with the other two being hired assassins to take down Batman. ‘Karateka Classic’ for iOS and Android game review

Last year we reviewed the new Karateka game on iOS. It was a remake of the 1984 game that was originally released for the Apple II. The original game has a cult following and although the 2012 remake was a decent effort it didn’t quite have the charm of the original.

Now Jordan Mechner, the developer who created the original game and worked on the remake, has released a port of the 1984 game for iOS and Android. Called Karateka Classic, the game is a blast from the past that lets you relive the classic gameplay on your modern smartphone or tablet. Let us take a closer look at it. Read more »

NVIDIA Shield up for pre-order, ships by the end of June

NVIDIA announced its project Shield handheld gaming console and the company released the full specifications and the pricing details just a few days ago. Now, the console is up for pre-order on NVIDIA’s website and you can also adopt the gadget from Gamestop, Newegg and Canada Computer.

NVIDIA Shield sports a 5-inch 720p touchscreen and is powered by a Tegra 4 chipset that packs four Cortex-A15 cores, a power saving core and a mobile GeForce GPU. Read more »

Angry Birds Rio hits the Windows Phone Store

Angry Birds Rio, one of the popular titles from the Angry Birds franchise is now available for all the Windows Phone users. The Windows Phone Store now hosts a collection of Angry Birds titles, which include Angry Birds Seasons, Angry Birds Star Wars and Angry Birds Space.
