NVIDIA is primarily a GPU company and it utilizes its close relationship with game developers to promote its products. The new Tegra 4 chipset is no exception and the company already announced 5 more games that are specifically optimized for the chipset.

The Tegra Zone has been around since the Tegra 2 came to be and it is a platform for showcasing Tegra-optimized (Android) games. Nokia is pushing a suite of exclusive apps to differentiate their Lumia phones from the other Windows Phone handsets. The latest addition is the NFC Writer app – as the name suggests, it writes info or actions to NFC tags but can also read them.

After Canonical issued the alpha version of its mobile version of Ubuntu for the select Nexus devices (Galaxy Nexus, Nexus 4, Nexus 7 and Nexus 10), the company has now updated the list of upcoming devices bound to receive a developer preview of the OS.

The list includes devices from Samsung, LG, HTC, ASUS, Motorola and Huawei, which marks the company’s efforts to get its name out there by enabling more and more users to try out the touch-enhanced version of Ubuntu. Read more »

Right when it was starting to seem that Twitter had completely forgotten about the Windows Phone version of its mobile app, the company has gone ahead and released a brand new version with a completely new look.

The new app takes some design elements from the iOS and Android version of Twitter’s mobile apps, such as the presence of the four tabs at the top but still maintains a UI that feels at home on Windows Phone (unlike the Android version, which is essentially a clone of the iOS version). Read more »

Last year, Adobe released the mobile version of their powerful Photoshop application, called Photoshop Touch. Although it was not quite in the same league as its desktop counterpart, the mobile app offered far more features than what you normally expect from a mobile image editing application.

Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 was supposed to jump from Android 2.3.x Gingerbread straight to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean without any Ice Cream Sandwich landing in between. And as we already know, Samsung has been testing out the Jelly Bean firmware for its Galaxy Ace 2 smartphones. Now, the test firmware for this once popular mid-ranger has leaked.

According to the leaked firmware, Samsung will be using its own Nature UX interface, which was initially announced on the Galaxy S3 smartphone and this might be the case with other mid-range smartphones like the Galaxy Beam, Galaxy Music, Galaxy Chat, Galaxy Ace Plus and Galaxy Mini 2, which will be receiving the Jelly Bean upgrades in the near future. Kyocera Communications and US Cellular have launched the Kyocera DuraPro, which is a military standard 810G certified phone. After the launch of Cat B15 at MWC, DuraPro is the second rugged phone to be announced in a span of two days.

Kyocera DuraPro is said to be a water, shock, dust and vibration resistant flip phone, which is encased in non-slip Dura-Grip material for… you know, extra durability. The company claims the rugged device will withstand immersion in up to a meter of water for about 30 minutes. Read more »

The Internet Explorer 10 is available in 95 languages and Windows 7 users will all get the update to the latest version of IE automatically in the upcoming days but eager users are able to download it manually.

Apple’s upcoming iOS 6.1.3, currently in its second beta, patches an exploit on which the popular all-round jailbreaking tool evasi0n relies. In other words when the update comes outр it could bring the evasi0n jailbreak to a stop, indefinitely.
