Tiny Tower – a popular block stacking game with a city building theme – is following in the footsteps of Angry Birds and getting a Star Wars edition of its own. Where the birds joined to good guys, the Tower is on the side of Darth Vader and Emperor Palpatine.

We all like to see console-quality games on the mobile platform. But while these games look great in demos, they often don’t play very well on a touchscreen due to the lack of physical controls. I have personally been more fond of simple, casual games on mobile that manage to be fun without being too heavy on graphics and employ a simple control scheme that takes advantage of a touchscreen rather than be crippled by it.
Cat on a Diet on a diet is a new casual title from Chillingo, the people who brought us games like Cut the Rope in the past. This one is along similar lines, but features a new character and gameplay elements that are different enough to warrant a new game. Let’s take a closer look and see how this one fares. Read more »
The tech season is as heated as it gets and with our Apple iPhone 5s review now served, it’s time to turn our heads to the battery life of Apple’s latest smartphone. Ever since Apple launched its virtual personal assistant, many have wondered who the person behind the Siri US voice is. Not anymore, as voice actress Susan Bennett has confirmed in a CNN feature that it was her voice that every iPhone user since iOS 5 has heard at some point in time.
It all began quite unassuming, according to Bennet. In July 2005 she was called for a job to record her voice for an undisclosed project. For four hours a day, every day for a month, the actress has been recording all Siri lines and responses. Read more »
Google launched its own music streaming services at its I/O event this summer. The Google Play Music All Access has been exclusive to the Android platform since then, but we might soon see a native Google Music app for iOS, according to a report from Engadget.

Remember the days when Apple could keep its products secret? Here’s a video comparing a space grey iPad 5 to the iPad 4 to help you forget. The video shows measurements of the size and weight of the new iPad.
The video clearly shows that the iPad 5 design is based on the iPad mini (current version). Being a 9.7″ tablet, it’s a bit too big to hold in one hand, but is a good deal narrower than the old model. Read more »

It’s been a bit over a week since iOS 7 became officially available to download and install on older iPhones and it has already hit around 60% adoption rate. Mixpanel has iOS 7 adoption at a hair over 62%, having surpassed the dwindling iOS 6 share sometime on September 20 (just a couple of days after release). Read more »
Well, Happy birthday Google and Google Search! The search giant (along with its bread and butter) turned 15 this month but showed that it’s not just eating cake and celebrating – there was serious work done before the actual party.
