On stage today, at the WWDC 2014 keynote speech Apple announced that they’ve got 40 million copies of their latest OS X release Mavericks on their users computers. As their proudly claim, this represents a good 51% adoption rate among the Mac OS user base.

Asus unveiled two new Transformer Pads, Android 4.4 powered tablets with keyboard docks. Those shouldn’t be confused with the three other Transformers unveiled today as they are mostly Windows devices.

Asus unveiled a large number of devices at the start of Computex, including four laptops – the Asus Transformer Book V, Transformer Book T300 Chi, Transformer Book Flip and Zenbook NX500. To call the Transformer Book V a “laptop” would be like calling a centaur a horse, however. Asus calls it “the world’s first five-mode, three-in-one converged laptop”.
Samsung began updating the Wi-Fi-only (Exynos-based) Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition six weeks ago. Now that its LTE-enabled Snapdragon 800-powered sibling is jumping on the KitKat bandwagon as well, we guess the 3G-enabled models should follow suit soon. Read more »
