Opera for Android, one of most popular third-party browsers for the Google OS has been updated. The latest version of the browser now runs on Chromium 28, which is a lot faster than ever before.

The Mozilla Firefox logo is one of the more recognizable logos around the world, at least to those of us who have been fortunate enough to use a computer. Been around as long as the browser itself, the logo only went through subtle changes since the browser was first released back in 2002.
Mozilla has now revealed what would be the third redesign of the famous logo. One look at the new logo and it’s clear that the designers have gone for a flatter look, as is the current trend in design. Most notably, the high gloss from the globe has been reduced considerably in favor of subtle gradient. The fox also loses the pronounced streaks on the back for a less detailed deep orange surface. Apple announced its OS X Maverick in the on-going WWDC 2013 and the Cupertino gaint has also introduced an improved Safari 7 that now comes with design tweaks, iCloud Keychain, memory, social and general performance improvements.
The Safari 7 will be integrated with the OS X Mavericks and the browser now features an improved reader list. Read more »
Opera has released the beta version of the next major iteration of their desktop browser, Opera Next 15. By far the biggest change in this update is a switch from Opera’s longstanding rendering engine Presto to the more ubiquitous WebKit based rendering engine.
Other major changes in this version include a completely revamped interface. You’ll notice that the address bar and the search bar have finally been combined into one. The speed dial screen has a new look with support for folders and there are two more tabs for Stash and Discover. Read more »
Google has updated the Android version of its Chrome browser and has blessed it with a few cool new features and several stability improvements.
Google Chrome for Android now supports fullscreen viewing on your smartphones and you scroll down to hide your toolbar. The update also comes with a simplified search, which allows you to view and refine your queries directly from the omnibox. Read more »
Back in March, Opera released a brand new version of the Opera browser for Android. Unlike the previous version that ran on the Presto engine, the new version was running on the more ubiquitous WebKit engine and also brought with it several new features and a new UI.

Mozilla has launched a new version of its Firefox browser for Windows, Mac and Linux. The Mozilla Firefox 21 comes with an added Social API support, which allows the social networks to integrate straight into your browser.
According to Mozilla, the Social API has the potential for integrating social networks, e-mails, finance, music, cloud possibilities, services, to-do lists, sports, news and other applications for your enhanced Firefox experience. Read more »
After announcing the service last month and releasing an app for Android, Google has now released a web app for Google Chrome.
The Chrome Google Keep app can be downloaded from the Chrome Web Store and works like any other Chrome app. Once installed you will see the icon on your homepage and clicking it will launch the Keep pop up window. From here you can create new notes and manage existing ones. Read more »
Google has updated the Chrome browser for iOS with a couple of useful new features. The first is a fullscreen mode for the iPhone and iPod touch. This works much the same way as on some other browsers, where the toolbox on top moves out of the screen when you scroll down. Scrolling back up brings it back to the screen.
The second addition is the option to do wireless printing, using either the Google Cloud Print service or Apple’s AirPrint. Lastly, you can now also save any web page as PDF on Google Drive through the browser. Read more »

After Samsung, it’s Google’s turn to part ways with the WebKit rendering engine. Google has announced Blink, a new rendering engine based on the existing WebKit.
The WebKit engine has been part of the Chromium project ever since the first Chrome browser was released and has also been the basis of Android’s stock browser. Now, however, Google feels the current WebKit has become too bloated, with several features such as the multi-process architecture being duplicated, since Google has its own version for them. Mozilla has announced that it has been working with Samsung to create a brand new next generation web browser engine. Called the Servo, the new engine is designed from the grounds-up to take advantage of the new mobile hardware with multi-core, heterogenous computing architectures.
Servo is written using Rust, a new safe systems language developed by Mozilla. Rust has been development for several years now and is said to be rapidly approaching stability. Also, like C++, it is said to have efficient high-level, multi-paradigm abstractions, and offers precise control over hardware resources. Read more »

Mozilla Firefox 20 comes with enhancements to private browsing, which allow you to open a new private browsing window without changing or closing the current session. The update also lets you to open multiple email accounts simultaneously in private window.
