Google has released the Android Wear application on the Play Store. Although there is not much you can do with it right now, the app will become useful once those who ordered their Android Wear devices start receiving their orders next week.
Google has also added a new section in the Play Store for Android Wear applications. Note, that these are not exactly separate apps that will run on your watch but your usual apps meant for your phone or tablet but now with Android Wear support to push relevant information on to the device. Windows 8 has come under a lot of fire for not being desktop computer friendly. Sure the tile approach may work for tablets, but the experience just doesn’t translate well to a mouse and keyboard set-up. Users made their discontent be known: they wanted their desktop experience back.

Nividia spokesperson has confirmed to Fudzilla that the company’s Tegra Note 7 tablet unveiled back in February is definitely going to receive an update to Android L.
The Tegra Note 7 is powered by the Tegra 4 chipset and came with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box. Currently, the tablet is updated to Android 4.4.2 KitKat, but no exact date has been provided as to when the update to L might come. Read more »
Jolla released an alpha version of its Android launcher for testing but you need to sign up to gain access and it only works on Android 4.3. As can be expected, the XDA-developers forums already have the original APK plus a version for Android 4.2.
