Apple reduces iPhone return period to 14 days

Today Apple slashed its iPhone return period from 30 days to 14 days. The policy change applies to iPhones bought from both Apple’s online and brick and mortar Stores.

Other than the shorter period for returning the product, Apple has made no other changes to the conditions. The iPhone you plan to return in that time frame has to be undamaged and include all of the original accessories. Read more »

OnePlus One will have always-on voice commands, unlocking

OnePlus’ upcoming One smartphone is going to sport always-on voice commands similar to what the Moto X premiered with. The information comes straight from the source and there’s even a poll going to see which command the phone will take – “Ok, OnePlus!”, “Wake up, OnePlus!” or “Alakazam”.

The OnePlus team has tailored the voice feature using Qualcomm’s tech while the CyanogenMod team, which is making the OS for the OnePlus One has implemented it to recognize your voice even in locked state. Read more »

Watch this cute Magic Focus ad for the LG G Pro 2

The LG G Pro 2 camera introduces the so-called Magic Focus mode, which works in a manner similar to Nokia’s Refocus. It captures several shots of the same scene with different focus and then lets you do the blurred background effect that smartphones normally fail to produce.

This iPhone Air concept looks cool and credible

Talented designer Sam Beckett has created an interesting concept of what the next iPhone might look like. Dubbed iPhone Air, the concept sports a 4.7″ display with extremely slim bezels. Beckett has also taken into consideration the latest rumors of Apple using an Sapphire protection for the display.

The video is very cool to watch and seems quite credible, unlike most iPhone concepts out there. We even don’t rule out the possibility of Apple going from its current naming convention to simply calling their latest smartphone the iPhone Air. Read more »

Delta upgrades its flight attendants to Nokia Lumia 1520

The Midia InkPhone has an e-Ink screen, promises weeks of battery life

Polish tech distributor Arta Tech will be selling a phone with an e-Ink screen in Europe soon called Midia InkPhone. The handset promises comfortable reading and two weeks of battery life thanks to the energy-efficient screen and 1,800mAh battery.

It features a 4.3″ Pearl e-Ink screen (like the Kinde reader screens) of 480 x 800 piexel resolution that is front illuminated. Read more »
