Google has released an update to Google Glass that brings with it several new features. One of changes is an update to Android 4.4 KitKat. Unlike on the smartphones and tablets, on the Glass it’s not something that will be immediately noticeable but will bring with it underlying improvements, such as in performance and battery life.
Google has also added a feature called Photo Bundles, which groups your photos together in bundles, which makes scrolling through a large group of them easier. You can now also send photos in Hangouts conversations, send feedback by tapping the device info card in Settings and voice commands are now sorted by recency and frequency to make the most used ones easier to access. Sony has released an update for the QX10 and QX100 camera accessories that make them a bit easier to work with. One of the additions is the ability to use the shutter button in half press mode to focus before shooting, which makes one wonder why this wasn’t enabled before.
The second change is improvement to the NFC performance. The connection speed has been improved so now the device will pair quicker with your NFC-enabled smartphone, provided you have the latest PlayMemories Mobile app (v4.2 and above). Read more »
The Sony MDR-10RBT are Sony’s mid-range wireless Bluetooth headphones. Although they lack the noise cancelling feature from some of Sony’s more expensive models, they do include some niceties such as NFC connectivity and aptX support, not to mention a friendlier price.

Samsung has officially launched the wireless charging cover for its flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S5. The new accessory will be available in two options – a standard back plate with Qi charging module and S-View flip cover model.
The wireless charging back covers for Galaxy S5 come with perforated holes and look identical to the stock cover. The company has managed to retain the gaskets from the original design in both models and this means that your Galaxy S5 with an external cover will continue to be water resistant. Read more »

In the light of the recent announcements made by Google, Samsung and Motorola, Pebble has decided to cut the price of its steel Pebble watch with a leather band by $20. Now, the watch sales for $229 on the Pebble online store.
As it currently stands, the Pebble Steel with a leather band is $30 more expensive than the Samsung Gear Fit and $70 cheaper than the Galaxy Gear 2. Motorola and LG haven’t announced pricing for their respective smartwatches yet. Read more »
