Chrome for Android got a new beta version yesterday, and now it’s the turn of one of its biggest competitors – Firefox. The guys at Mozilla released a new Firefox Beta in the Play Store, and it comes with a new feature that lets you further customize the content you see in the browser’s home screen.
Now you can add Web content from many sources such as websites, feeds, and services, and each of those will get its very own panel in the start screen of Firefox for Android. Read more »

Few weeks back we talked about Rovio’s upcoming Angry Birds Transformers (sigh) game. Other than telling the game is coming soon, no other details were provided back then.
Rovio has now released a new trailer for the game. Unfortunately, it doesn’t show much either. The CGI trailer shows the red bird that also looks like Optimus Prime fighting bad pigs. Snapchat’s incredible popularity has its competitors scrambling to come up with an equivalent service to engage the masses. Despite several attempts, no one has really managed to match Snapchat’s success.
After failing to acquire Snapchat, Facebook came up with the godawful Slingshot app, which I’m sure even Facebook employees aren’t using at this point, leave alone the average users. Chrome Beta for Android has been updated to version 37 today, and with it come the first hints of Material Design. This new design philosophy was announced last month during Google I/O, and it will be the basis for the Android L release that’s coming this fall.
And now it’s made its way to Chrome, which follows in the footsteps of the Play Store app. The browser sports a more modern look, though it’s not 100% Material just yet. Chromecast, Google’s HDMI streaming dongle, has turned one year old today. And to celebrate the occasion, the search giant is giving everyone who owns a Chromecast a free 90-day subscription to Play Music All Access.
There are some caveats, though, chief among which is that the offer is only valid if you’re in the US. Furthermore, it’s not an option for anyone who has previously subscribed to All Access. Recently, we got a chance to spend a tiny bit of quality time with the Amazon Fire Phone at an AT&T press event in New York City. The retail giant’s first ever smartphone is now available in the United States for $199 with a two-year contract or $649 outright.
The Amazon Fire Phone’s specs include Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC, 2GB of RAM, 32GB or 64GB of non-expandable memory, and 4.7” 720p LCD display. Read more »

Microsoft’s OneNote team has made its own ad, spoofing LMFAO’s Sexy and I Know It and transforming it into Click it an I Note it.
