The GoPro Hero3 action camera was launched about a year ago and has gained some serious traction among extreme sports enthusiasts. Combining a rugged build with some serious video capture credentials the Hero3 has got the attention of the folks from DxO Labs, who have done their set of scientific tests on it.

We recently heard reports stating that an explosion of Samsung Galaxy S III had injured an 18-year old girl in Switzerland, causing third degree burns. The manufacturer had done its own investigation of the cause for the unfortunate accident and has now revealed its findings to the public.

Samsung has confirmed that it has started mass production of the new PCIe-based (PCI-Express) solid-state drives, which bring about 2.5 times performance boost over current SATA-based drives and around 7 times more than a conventional 7200 RPM hard-drive.
The new XP941 PCIe-based SSDs are also smaller than their predecessors making them ideal for use in ultrabooks. Read more »
