Users may find the performance of Samsung’s Exynos processors exhilarating, but it seems the developers who work on custom ROMs for these devices don’t share the same enthusiasm.
Responding to a query on xda-developers forum, CyanogenMod developer who goes by the forum ID ‘codeworkx’ explained why he and other developers think that Exynos processors are bad for developers. It essentially boils down to lack of proper support from Samsung in terms of providing sources or documentation for their processors and when they do it’s either outdated or incompatible. Read more »
This should hardly catch you by surprise, given that the company is under Google ownership. Motorola has followed Nokia’s example, and released an ad, which pokes fun at Apple’s far from perfect Maps service.
The ad, released by Motorola in Twitter and Google+ put the Apple iPhone 5 next to the company’s latest DROID RAZR M. Both devices have the same search query entered with Apple’s handset returning a rather questionable result. Read more »

The Samsung Ativ Tab is the company’s first Windows 8 RT tablet and judging by the feedback our preview got, you guys really liked it. However, as with every other device, its success would depend on its pricing, and that was until now a mystery.

Apple Maps are taking hits left, right and center lately. Just about everyone had something to say about the product Apple selected to replace Google Maps in iOS, but this last attack comes from the most unexpected of places.

Despite its great look, the Apple Maps app -which replaced Google Maps in iOS 6 – has been subject to some heavy criticism over the past few days. The incomplete coverage and numerous inaccuracies made most users miss the iOS 5 days, when they could actually go places.

Hot on the heels of the Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 launch, Nokia has also taken the fight to the competition in the location based services field. The Finnish company has released a table, comparing its own Maps application to the likes of Google Maps and Apple’s own brand new Maps service.
Design is the one of the areas where we feel WP smartphones do pretty well. The Nokia Lumia 800 and 900 were considered by many (us included) as two of the best-looking handsets the industry has seen and virtually all of the recently announced WP8 handsets look equally as impressive.
