Gameloft releases new trailer for Wild Blood

Gameloft has released a new trailer for their upcoming hack and slash action game based on the Unreal Engine.

Wild Blood is a third person action game based in the medieval times and follows the story of Sir Lancelot. The trailer shows off the expected impressive graphics along with some exciting combat elements. Having said that, Wild Blood does bear strong resemblances to the God of War and Infinity Blade games at times. Read more »

Motorola Droid RAZR HD promo video calls it the ‘all-day phone’

Motorola unleashed the first wave of promo videos and the one for the Droid RAZR HD describes it as the “all-day phone”. It also focuses on the new 4.7” Super AMOLED display with 720p resolution and fact that the RAZR HD is the most compact phone for its screen size.

Google Nexus 7 available in the Netherlands, Italy and Japan, on pre-order in Taiwan

The availability of the Google Nexus 7 tablet continues to expand. Last week France, Germany and Spain got it, now it has reached Italy and the Netherlands too. It’s also cropping up halfway across the world in Taiwan and Japan too.

Google Maps Navigation arrives in India, brings turn by turn voice navigation and traffic updates

Although the basic Google Maps service has been available in India for years now, some of the fancier features such as Navigation remained unavailable. That is, until now.

Google has now enabled the Navigation feature in India, which means now along with being able to get driving directions you will also have a voice reading them out so you can focus on the road instead of your phone’s display. Read more »

Sony has released the binaries for Xperia S, Vanilla Android project has a go

Two weeks ago Google launched an experiment to bring plain vanilla Android on Sony’s top shelf Xperia smartphone. According to Google’s Technical Lead of the AOSP (Android Open Source Project), “Xperia S is a powerful current GSM device, with an unlockable bootloader, from a manufacturer that has always been very friendly to AOSP.”

Today Sony gave the last piece needed buy the Google’s AOSP – the Xperia S binaries or in layman’s terms – all the drivers needed to run the Xperia S hardware. Read more »

New Jelly Bean ROM for the Samsung Galaxy S III surfaces

HTC Desire X stars in a promo video, tells us all about its cool features

HTC recently announced a budget dual-core Android phone – the HTC Desire X. A new promo video for the phone tries to highlight its strong suits. Just like its big siblings, the Desire X packs Beats Audio and a 5MP camera with a BSI sensor, F/2.0 aperture and ImageChip for burst shooting.

3G Nexus 7 said to arrive in around six weeks

The Nexus 7 is pretty much the best Android tablet available in the market right because it does so much for so little. But in order to reach that low price point some compromises had to be made, which included having no 3G connectivity at launch.

But it seems that will soon be remedied, as apparently a 3G model of the Nexus 7 is on its way. According to Paul O’Brien at MoDaCo, a 3G version of the Nexus 7 will launching in six weeks from now. The rest of the specifications are said to be identical to the current Nexus 7 tablet. Read more »

Samsung Galaxy Camera extended hands-on

Today we got the chance to sit down with Samsung’s team and have a more thorough look at its recently announced products.

First off, it was the Samsung Galaxy Camera. We tried it first-hand without the messy wires and we’re quite happy with how it felt. It has 21x optical zoom and at its widest end, the lens has an ultra wide angle of 23mm in 35mm terms and there’s a back-lit sensor behind it, which is impressive enough combo, even without counting the Android smart functionality.
