Samsung’s latest Galaxy S4 commercial bashes Apple with the help of dancing ninjas and a goat

by 146 comments

Samsung Iceland released an odd, yet hilarious ad for the Galaxy S4, which takes a jab at the Apple iPhone in a never before seen fashion. The ad metaphorically highlights the advantages of the Korean flagship by employing a team of dancing ninjas and (get ready for this) a goat.

The plot of the ad is quite simple. In the beginning, a guy tries to interact with an apple as if it is an actual smartphone with “predictable” results. Read more »

Elago G7 Breathe case for Samsung Galaxy S4 hands-on

Continuing its tradition of designing accessories for the Samsung Galaxy family of smartphones, the California based manufacturer Elago released a trio of protective cases for the Galaxy S4. Out of the bunch, I managed to spend quality time with the Elago G7 Breathe case. The cover is designed to offer basic protection for the smartphone, as well as (arguably) enhance its appearance.

At a quick glance, the Elago G7 Breathe case looks like no exception from the norm. Read on to find out if it is worth your consideration! Read more »

Ferrari by Logic3 P200 over-ear headphones review

by 15 comments

At a first glance, the Ferrari by Logic3 P200 over-ear headphones are nothing like the manufacturer’s S100i which I reviewed a couple of weeks ago. Unlike the small, sleek-looking S100i in-ear offering, the P200 are as large and imposing a pair of headphones, as they get.

Like the in-ear S100i headset, the Ferrari by Logic3 P200 headphones are part of the manufacturer’s Scuderia collection. The headset’s design is inspired by Ferrari’s rich racing heritage – it is modeled after the headphones worn by the car maker’s F1 team members in the pits during a race. Hit the break to find out what it’s like to live with them on a daily basis! Read more »

A blurry image of what looks like an upcoming dedicated gamepad for iOS devices has made the rounds on the internet. Despite the far from perfect nature of the photo however, the large white Logitech G-series logo on the controller’s left side leaves little doubt about who its manufacturer is.

The gamepad appears designed as an enclosure around iPhone 5 or the latest generation iPod Touch. Read more »

Nokia Lumia 928 vs Galaxy S4 impromptu flash shootout: xenon vs. LED

by 135 comments

While preparing the full review of the Nokia Lumia 928, we were quite curious what its Xenon flash is capable of. We had a Samsung Galaxy S4 around so we decided to do an impromptu shootout in low light conditions. We’ve prepared a set of samples from both devices for you to see, both with and without flash under the same conditions.

The entire marketing blitz surrounding the Nokia Lumia 928 has been built around its camera’s low light prowess. The samples we are about to show you now are not about that (or at least, not entirely).

With OIS built-in, the device surely commands plenty of attention, but now we are concentrating on the flash performance of the two models. Hit the break to see how they fared. Read more »
