Olympus just unveiled the exciting SZ-30MR superzoom camera, which is the first in the world to support multi-recording. This means you can snap the occasional 16MP photo, even while you are actively recording 1080p video with the camera and you won’t lose any video frames while doing that. Oh, and we also got another rugged compact – the Olympus Tough TG-810.
We’ve found a leak of the upcoming iPad 2 in China, of all places. Mind you, no specs are released, just some photos of the device. They look sort off legitimate, but it could still be just a mockup, to throw people off, before Apples’ launch event in San Francisco later today.
The pictures are aplenty, though, showing you every side of the tablet and even comparing it to the original iPad.

The teaser poster published on the Samsung Facebook page (pictured above) asks “What’s your Tab life?” and contains the numbers 7, 8, 9 and 10. With 7” and 10” devices already covered we suspect we are going to see either an 8” or a 9” Galaxy Tab announced on 22nd of March.

If you have applied the Android 2.3.3 update to you Google Nexus S recently you might have noticed that the screen now looks different. There’s no reason to worry though – the slightly warmer colors don’t indicate a hardware bug, but are in fact a feature implemented by the Google engineers.
According the support team the color temperature adjustment was done so darker colors could be rendered “more accurately at all brightness levels”.
The Motorola XOOM packs some serious punch under the hood and there’s hardly an Android application that would require more. However this doesn’t stop the hacking community to try and squeeze every last drop of performance out of dual-core Cortex-A9 CPU (you know, just in case).
We just got news that an XDA-developers forum member has successfully managed to increase the clock speed to 1.5 GHz with a few kernel modifications. And it’s not the see-what-I-have-here kind of deal – you can follow a short tutorial and get the extra power on your very own XOOM.
Yesterday was a big day for Apple. Not only did they announce the newly refreshed MacBook Pro laptops, but they also released the first developer preview of Mac OS X Lion. As you may remember, we covered some of its main features in a our blog last year.
Now, though, more exciting features that make advantage of various gestures have been added. Apple has even made a video demo showing some of them.
Update 27 Feb: We also heard the new Mac OS Lion finally supports TRIM for greatly improved SSD drives day-to-day management. Whoa!
Well, I don’t know how much truth there is in advertising but I’m willing to bet such encounters like the one shown in this ad are purely fictional. Either that or I should have become a taxi driver.

MobileMe is dead, long live MobileMe? Apple has put their online service on the End of Life list, discontinuing both online and in-store purchases. And of course, rumors about the MobileMe service going free started churning in the Internet rumor mill.
