Motorola has announced the launch of the QWERTY candybar MOTOGO! for the Brazilian market. The company advertises the little fella as suitable for “grownups” but it’ll likely appeal to the youngsters who seek a cheap tool for those long chat sessions.

The MOTOGO! may not be as desirable as its like-minded HTC ChaCha as it lacks a dedicated Facebook button, but instead Motorola has given it a dedicated Google Search one, just like the smartphones from the old days. Read more »

RIM fessed up to being behind the “Wake up!” campaign in front of an Australian Apple store and now the company is moving on to step two of its plan – a motivational (and subtly anti-Apple) message that alludes to a new BlackBerry Bold.

Rovio, a mobile gaming company famous for its Angry Birds franchise, published its financial results for the year 2011 and the numbers are quite interesting. Rovio reports 648 million downloads and 200 million active monthly users.

As of today, the long-awaited Adobe CS6 suite is available for purchase online. The beta versions of some of the products have been around for some time but it’s time for the real thing with all the promised magic tricks. The Adobe Creative Suite 6 is one of the most major releases in recent times.

Photoshop CS6, for instance, brings about 60% more feature changes than CS5. Visually, there are over 1,900 icons that have been replaced, and the engineers have also tweaked alignment, cursors, buttons, layout and even grammar throughout the application. And there’s a lot more. Read more »

HTC just made the One X source code available to anyone who’s interested in it. The code should help developers to create custom ROMs, without having to rewrite all those drivers.

Unfortunately the released One X source does not include the AT&T’s version, which is based on a different chipset and requires different code to operate. We are not sure if that will be made at a later stage of if it will remain private forever due to some other “restrictions”. Read more »

We have seen pictures of a BlackBerry-style phone running Android OS even before the OS was officially announced. Eventually, we got a lot more pictures of how Android looked back in the day. Now, developer Steven Troughton-Smith has managed to get his hands on an early prototype of the device, called the Google Sooner.
