Google launches Play Books in Italy, Italian classic books galore

Italy is now among the lucky countries to be able to purchase books from the Google Play Books store.

To celebrate the launch, Google is making available a lot of Italian classic books such as Maschere nude: L’uomo, la bestia e la virtù and Cavalleria rusticana. A couple of weeks ago, France was also lucky enough to see the launch of Play Movies on home turf.

Google’s plans for further roll-out of its Play Store divisions are foggy and it seems we are going to see them as they go live. Chop-chop, Google.
