Facebook announced a redesigned News Feed, which divides the content stream into different categories. The new look aims to take better advantage of visual content such as photos and videos through larger thumbs, as well as to unify the News Feed appearance for desktop and mobile devices.
The new content categories in the redesigned News Feed include one for content from your friends, a dedicated one for photos, as well as separate feeds for music related posts and news on public figures you follow.

Samsung was expected to launch a bunch of other tablets along with its Galaxy Note 8.0 at the recently concluded Mobile World Congress. Nokia Lumia devices running Windows Phone 8 now have the ability to run the updated Photosynth app, which creates (somewhat) seamless 360-degree panorama shots.

The latest release of CyanogenMod is out and it expands the list of device supported by the after market firmware. CyanogenMod 10.1 M2 release is based on Android 4.2.2 and the latest development brings support for the Nexus family and few other popular smartphones.
The second release of Cyanogen’s M version brings some new features as well, such as wireless display and daydream support. Furthermore, CyanogenMod 10.1 also squashes a ton of bugs that were reported by users of the nightlies and the developmental firmware is quite stable now.

Just a few days back, we had reported that the lock screen of the Samsung Galaxy devices could be bypassed for a brief period, but now, a newly found glitch allows you to completely bypass the lock screen of Samsung Galaxy S III. The security flaw also allows you to access the device’s content, which turns it into a bigger privacy concern.
According to a report from ZDNet, the method to bypass the lock screen remains quite similar to the one on Galaxy Note II, but with few added steps.

There is a new Temple Run game in town and this one is based on a movie. Made in partnership Disney, Temple Run: Oz, like Temple Run: Brave before, is based on one of Disney’s upcoming movies, in this case Oz the Great and Powerful.
The game is not far too different from previous Temple Run games and seems to be using the same engine as Temple Run 2. You will notice some similarities, such as the flowing level design, where the track gently bends, rises or dips unlike the flat, straight tracks on older Temple Run games. However, there are several differences that set this game apart.
The LG Optimus G Pro is the current king of phablets – other phablets couldn’t put up much of a fight against the 5.5” 1080p screen or the Snapdragon 600 chipset. The phablet market exploded after the first Galaxy Note came around and quickly went from niche to millions of units and LG has engineered the Optimus G Pro to be the best in that field.
The screen is pretty amazing – it has excellent viewing angles (better than the Optimus G screen) and great colors.
The web version of Google+ has got a slight redesign today with much larger cover photos, a Google Now-eqsue look for the About section as well as Local reviews.
The new cover photos are quite large, up to 2120px by 1192px in fact, and they are displayed in 16:9 aspect ratio when fully expanded. Now you can really make your Google+ page shine.
