The PlayStation Vita TV has been on sale in Japan and Asia since last year but Sony will be bringing it to North America and Europe under the name PlayStation TV. The gadget has the PS Vita hardware inside and can play Vita, PlayStation Portable and PS One games using the bundled DualShock 3 controller.
It can also stream a game running on a PlayStation 4 in a different room thanks to its Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity. Read more »
Most of us who played and enjoyed the previous Batman Arkham games are greatly looking forward to playing developer Rocksteady’s next installment, Batman: Arkham Knight. The final game in the series, the game will feature the Dark Knight facing off against a brand new villain called the Arkham Knight, along with several of Batman’s old nemeses.
The game, unfortunately, got delayed and will be arriving next year but we do have a tantalizing new E3 trailer that shows some fantastic footage of the new Batmobile in action, along with some new combat moves. There is also new Iron Man-esque Batsuit to ogle at. Read more »
Vertus are typically all about the exterior – expensive metal, premium leather and gemstones of all kinds – we’ve never really wondered what was inside (usually an S40 Nokia). But the Vertu Signature Touch got us genuinely curious with its 1080p screen, Snapdragon 800 chipset and 13MP camera.

Several months after the launch on the last generation consoles, Rockstar is releasing the game on the PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
As you can expect, the game now runs at a higher resolution, with improved detail, greater draw distance and denser traffic. Despite the thoroughly outdated hardware of the last gen console, Rockstar managed to make the game look good so you can image how good it would look on the current gen and PC. Skype’s iPhone application has been kind of left behind its Android and Windows Phone counterparts, but it now has been overhauled.
The newest Skype for iPhone update makes the app look a lot like the Windows Phone one and brings in a lot of changes that makes using it a more pleasant experience. Read more »
VLC Player, the popular multimedia player app for iOS and Android, is set to get support for Google’s new media streaming platform Chromecast.
Paradoxically, native streaming support for Chromecast is set to hit the iOS version of VLC before the Android version, likely due to the latter still being in the beta stages of its development. Read more »
The Nintendo Wii proved a resounding success, so much so that Sony hadn’t outsold Nintendo in the console market since 2005. Japanese news outlet Nikkei reports that this changed in 2013 as the PlayStation 4 got off to a stronger start than its predecessor, while the Wii’s successor proved massively disappointing.
CyanogenMod 11.0 M7, the latest version of the popular Android 4.4.2 KitKat-based ROM, is now available for download to all compatible devices. It brings UI tweaks and performance improvements, extended media format support, better Bluetooth connectivity and squashes some bugs.

One of the new features in iOS 8 is time-lapse mode in the Camera app. For those who don’t know, time-lapse mode takes a series of photographs with a few second interval and in the end combines all the images into a video, which when played looks like a fast-forwarded video.
It’s not something you’d use often but it’s a cool thing to have and definitely gives some cool results as we will see now. Read more »
Visually, the Samsung Galaxy S5 looks worthy of being a Chuck Norris companion, particularly in the camouflage color scheme worn by our review unit. The new color will likely not appeal to everyone, though we found it to be quite the conversation starter. Read more »

One of the most annoying things about using a smartphone is taking it out in the sun. Corning, the makers of Gorilla Glass, have been working on an anti-reflective coating for smartphone screens for a while now to combat that problem.
