Announced during this year’s CES, the Asus PadFone X for AT&T finally got its pricing and launch date detailed. The high-end Android KitKat phone and its 9” docking station will be available to purchase tomorrow for $199.99 with a two-year contract, or $22.92 per month with AT&T Next 18 plan.

Sony has just brought its Xperia T3 smartphone to life and as the tradition goes on such occasions, we get a promo video highlighting the smartphone’s key selling points. If you don’t feel like reading through all the technical specs this is where you can get a quick overview of the mid-ranger strengths.
The video is mostly about the design – Sony is pretty proud of the Xperia T3′s ultra slim waistline and its steel frame. Other features that get a mention are the 8MP camera that comes complete with a bunch of Sony home-baked apps and the 5.3″ Triluminous display of 720p resolution. Read more »
Asus unveiled a large number of devices at the start of Computex, including four laptops – the Asus Transformer Book V, Transformer Book T300 Chi, Transformer Book Flip and Zenbook NX500. To call the Transformer Book V a “laptop” would be like calling a centaur a horse, however. Asus calls it “the world’s first five-mode, three-in-one converged laptop”.

Motorola Moto E has just arrived at our office bringing KitKat experience on the cheap. Google’s latest version of the OS lowered Android’s minimal system requirements thus retiring the good ol’ Gingerbread.
So, the Moto E is running on a low-end Snapdragon 200 chipset with a dual-core Cortex-A7 processor and 1GB of RAM. This should be more than enough to handle the Android 4.4 KitKat hassle-free on the 4.3″ qHD display. Read more »
