Sony Xperia T3 battery life test

by 40 comments

The Sony Xperia T3′s battery life test is now complete and it’s time to share with you how it did. The phone is impressively thin at just 7mm, but thanks to its large stance, it houses a decent 2,500mAh battery.

Combine this with the Snapdragon 400 chipset, which has a solid record being mostly frugal, we can expect the phone’s draw on battery to be as optimized as possible. Additionally, Sony has integrated the Power Saver option into the Settings menu. It helps you extend the battery life by toggling Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth screen brightness, auto sync and background data on and off automatically when the battery charge falls below a certain user-defined threshold. by 42 comments

The Samsung Galaxy S5 mini matches the looks of the big Galaxy S5 and even most of its features but opts for a smaller display, body and in turn smaller 2,100mAh battery.

The screen of the Galaxy S5 mini is 4.5″ against the 5.1″ of the Galaxy S5 and the resolution is more than two times lower at 720p. The chipset should also be less power-hungry so the 700mAh-less battery should do okay to match the 72 hour endurance rating of the bigger Galaxy S5. But there are a slew of minis to fight as well – let’s see how the Galaxy S5 mini did. Read more »
