We all know that Apple’s App Store makes lots and lots of money, but every now and then it still manages to surprise us. The app repository has shattered previous records, generating the whopping $10 billion in earnings in 2013.
What’s so impressive about this number is that it pretty much doubled 2012′s revenue estimate of $5 billion. December 2013 proved to be the most lucrative for the App Store, with over 3 billion app downloads and $1 billion in sales. Read more »
Parrot, the company behind the popular AR Drone 2.0, has added two new smaller flying toys to its family of drones – the Parrot MiniDrone and Parrot Jumping Sumo
The Parrot MiniDrone is a smaller version of the aforementioned AR Drone 2.0 that almost fits in the palm of your hand. As a result of the smaller size, the MiniDrone is more simple than its bigger brother and doesn’t have a camera on board. Read more »
Rockstar has been porting old Grand Theft Auto games over to the mobile platform for the past two years. Back in 2011 they ported over the popular Grand Theft Auto III, which was followed by Grand Theft Auto: Vice City in 2012.

Analyst Patrick Wang of Evercore Partners speculates that Apple will release a 12-inch iPad Pro model. The newest iPad would be focused on capturing the business market, and is said to revolutionize notebook PCs.

The original Tomb Raider game was a milestone in the world of gaming. You could say it singlehandedly created the third person action, adventure genre and made it what it is today. Seventeen years after the original game debuted on the PC and consoles, Eidos (now Square Enix Inc) has ported the game over to iOS. Nokia has taken down its Here Maps app from Apple’s App Store. It is no longer available for download and won’t come back in a while. The only way to access the Here services on the iOS is through here.com.

Google has released an update to the recently launched Google Play Music app on iOS. The latest update brings minor UI changes to keep it in sync with iOS 7 design guidelines.
Other than the refreshed UI, the update also features the I Am Feeling Lucky radio function, which produces an auto playlist based on the music you listen on your phone. Read more »

Google has released the MyGlass app on iOS. This app, which was previously exclusively available on Android, is designed to work with you Google Glass.
