Anyone who owns a PS3 and has not played Uncharted has done themselves a great disservice. Easily one of the best series on the PS3 and one of the best series of all time, the Uncharted games have won hearts and awards by their exceptional gameplay, storytelling, voice acting and visuals.
After Sony released the first three games on the ageing PS3, it was generally expected the next installment would arrive on Sony’s next generation PS4 console. And turns out, we were right. Read more »

Gameloft has released their latest hit game, Asphalt 8: Airborne, on two new platforms. Launched initially on iOS and Android, the game is now also available on Windows Phone 8 and even Windows 8.1.
We reviewed Asphalt 8 when it was initially released and found it to be pretty enjoyable, although in some ways, not as much as its predecessor, which is still a really fun game. Having said that, Asphalt 8 is a marked improvement in terms of visuals and should be great on Windows 8.1 with a powerful desktop GPU (it wasn’t very smooth on mobile). Read more »

Mobile devices have infiltrated the gaming segment in a big way to the point where they are now the primary gaming platform for a lot of people, even if they don’t realize it yet. We now have games from all genres available on the mobile platform. But while several of them try to emulate console gaming experience on the small screen, some are designed from the ground up for the touchscreen.
I have said repeatedly in the past that it is this category of games that interests me the most. The joy of playing a game designed with the attributes of the touchscreen in mind and actually takes advantage of it rather than being crippled by it is quite something. Device 6 for iOS is one such game, and today we are going to take a close look at it. Read more »

Ubisoft has released the successor to the terrific Rayman Jungle Run on iOS and Android. Called Rayman Fiesta Run, the new game brings brand new levels, revamped visual design and music to the much loved gameplay.
We reviewed Jungle Run back when it came out on iOS and had loved the incredible visuals, fast paced gameplay and amazing music. Fiesta Run maintains the single tap gameplay mechanism, where all you have to do is use a single finger to tap on the screen to jump at the appropriate moment and not have to worry about any other controls. This is great for touch devices as too many controls makes the experience worse, not better and one of the reasons why Jungle Run was so well received. Read more »
