After being rumored for the better part of the last year, Google officially just announced its own cloud storage solution – Drive.

Google Drive gives you 5GB of storage the second you sign in to use the service. No questions asked. The interface is based on Google Docs and you can collaborate with other people on documents, spreadsheets and presentations. The sharing and collaboration system is enhanced by comments, which you get notified for if they are new. Read more »

Dropbox has updated the desktop version of its app, introducing the option to get direct links to any of your files.

Previously, you could only give public link to files put from your Public folder, but now the Dropbox boffins have put an end to this, making the cloud sharing service a whole lot easier to use. Read more »

Adobe will officially announce all of its latest products part of the Creative Suite 6 today at a dedicated event in San Francisco. Expected to arrive on May 7, the design and video editing products can be had in a variety of suites.

Samsung could be lining up for a new Galaxy Tab announcement at their big London event on May 3.

According to sources close to the matter, the announcement of the upcoming Galaxy S II successor will be joined by a launch of a new tablet. And it won’t be a quad-core Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, which was rumored to be coming later down the road. Read more »

Microsoft has announced its Q3 financial results and things are looking bright for the software giant. The record-breaking revenue for the quarter ending on March 31, 2012 was $17.41 billion, representing a 6% growth over the same period of 2011.

Additionally, the operating income saw a 12% boost compared to last year and reached $6.37 billion. Net income was $5.11 billion ($0.60 per diluted share), which is actually slightly lower than it was in the holiday quarter, but this doesn’t make Steve Ballmer any less optimistic about the future.. Less than one month before we get to free Sanctuary from the forces of Evil, Blizzard will be making the beta of Diablo 3 accessible to everyone. Starting on April 20 at 12:01 p.m. PST and ending on April 23 until 10:00 a.m. PST, everyone with a Battle.net account will be able to hop on the Diablo 3 beta server and slash some monster in what is undoubtedly the most hotly anticipated game in recent years.

Mozilla’s CEO Gary Kovacs announced in Sao Paulo yesterday that Brazil is going to be the first country to see the launch of the company’s HTML5-driven Boot To Gecko smartphones.

This was somewhat expected since Mozilla announced its partnership with carrier Telefonica, which has strong presence in Brazil. Kovacs also announced he expects devices to start hitting the shelves there by the end of this year or in early 2013 at the latest. Read more »

Also compatible with the iPad 2, the Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard Cover features the usual array of magnet strips used for the automatic screen wake-up and position lock for, sadly, just one tilt angle.
