Reportedly, the notification area is about to get a complete overhaul in the upcoming Android 4.2 update. A recent video shows a two separate pull-down bars – the first one to hold all of your notifications and the second – the entire quick settings/toggles gang.

BioWare and EA have just announced the Mass Effect Trilogy package. As the name suggests it will offer all three games from the popular sci-fi series and will hit all three major platforms.
The Mass Effect Trilogy will come in a premium foil box with exclusive artwork. There won’t be two versions of the package (male and female Shepard), but BioWare promises some special surprise for the female Shepard fans. Read more »
Yesterday we told you about a nasty USSD hack that can hard reset the Galaxy S III. The code could be entered via the dial pad, the stock browser or accepted via an NFC tag, which made it quite dangerous.

Today Apple announced the iPhone 5 broke a new record – 5 million units sold in the first three days of its market availability. The press release contained some statistics about the iOS 6 updates as well.

Since the new Apple iPhone 5 comes with a brand new connectivity port called Lightning, many users were disappointed their old accessories won’t work.

The newly announced iPhone 5 introduced a smaller but still proprietary Lightning USB port. It’s different from the microUSB standard required by the EU Commission, so Apple once again had to come up with a workaround.

Apple has just unveiled the new iPhone 5, but it provided very little information about its A6 chipset.
