The original Temple Run hit iOS back in 2011. The game was an instant success, reaching the top of charts around the world. It arrived on the Play Store last year and saw similar response from Android users as well.
It was also last year when Imangi released Temple Run: Brave, a variation of the original game made in collaboration with Disney for their movie ‘Brave’. It featured a new character and different level design but was essentially the old game in a new wrapper. But earlier this year, Imangi released Temple Run 2 that brought with it completely redesigned visuals and some new gameplay mechanics.
Now, shortly after the release of Temple Run 2, the developers have released Temple Run: Oz. Like Temple Run: Brave before it, Temple Run: Oz is based on an upcoming Disney movie, ‘Oz the Great and Powerful’ and carries forward the visual and gameplay enhancements from Temple Run 2 but with new level designs keeping with the theme of the movie. There is a new Temple Run game in town and this one is based on a movie. Made in partnership Disney, Temple Run: Oz, like Temple Run: Brave before, is based on one of Disney’s upcoming movies, in this case Oz the Great and Powerful.
The game is not far too different from previous Temple Run games and seems to be using the same engine as Temple Run 2. You will notice some similarities, such as the flowing level design, where the track gently bends, rises or dips unlike the flat, straight tracks on older Temple Run games. Nearly three months after releasing the much awaited Maps application for iOS, Google has finally released an update for it, which brings with it some useful new features.
One of the key new features is the ability to search through your Google contacts. All you have to do is sign into your Google account and then just type the name of the contact into the search field. Evasi0n’s jailbreak has been one of the most popular tools to jailbreak any Apple device. The recently launched jailbreak tool for iOS 6.x had been used to hack more than 7 million iOS devices in just about four days and the tool now runs on over 14 million Apple devices.

Apple’s Lightning Digital AV adapter is often criticized for carrying an expensive price tag, but the potential these adapters carry is very little known. The folks at Panic have torn down the adapter and were able to unveil its hidden capabilities.
The Lightning Digital AV adapters is designed to support full 1080p HD display but the tests revealed that the device’s maximum and optimum resolution was only 1600×900 pixles. So, the iPhone 5 and iPad mini, which claims to support video outputs up to 1080p is not possible and you get 1600×900 instead. Read more »
There’s another non-Angry Birds title headed to Rovio’s gaming portfolio, folks. The Finnish developer has teamed up to release a mobile game, based on the film studio’s upcoming animated movie The Croods.

The users of YouTube for iOS have been enjoying the streaming via AirPlay for quite a while now, but the latest update to the application adds the Send to TV option, which allows you to streaming content to your Smart TV, Xbox or Sony PS3.

As we were cruising through the MWC 2013 grounds a particularly interesting piece of Android software caught our eye. Developed by the relatively unknown Japanese company Morpho, the MovieSolid video stabilization doesn’t require any special hardware to work, yet yields impressive results.
Using only the data from the camera sensor and the smartphone’s gyro sensor (if available), the MovieSolid solution manages to turn an otherwise shaky video into something that looks as if shot with a steadicam. We tested the software against the Apple iPhone 5, which we have found to have the best digital stabilization in the smartphone game so far and we were really stunned by the result. Read more »
