Couple of days ago, popular social network Instagram announced their new Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, which would be effective starting January 16, 2013.
Unfortunately for them, the new documents resulted in a major outcry from the users because they made it sound like Instagram would be using your photos to sell them to advertisers, which resulted in a lot of people deleting their accounts. Apple has released the iOS 6.0.2 update for the iPhone 5 and the iPad mini. The only major change in this update is that it fixes the Wi-Fi bug that a lot of users were experiencing.
Since the iOS 6 update, several users reported unable to connect to their local Wi-Fi. The next update, iOS 6.0.1, was supposed to solve this issue and while it did for some users others continued to face it. Read more »
The rumor mill wastes no time when it comes to “the next iPhone”. We received an anonymous tip that the next Apple smartphone (whether it’s the iPhone 6 or 5S) will have a dual-LED flash, but it’s going to be unlike any other dual-LED flash we’ve seen before. It’s going to have LEDs of two different colors.

After being dropped out of iOS 6 by Apple, the YouTube app became a standalone application that had to be downloaded from the App Store. But one of the biggest shortcomings of this app was that it was meant only for content consumption, and there was no way to upload videos from it.
Google has now released a separate application for the iPhone and iPod touch, whose only purpose is recording videos and uploading them on YouTube. You can shoot and do quick editing to your videos from within the app itself or upload one of your existing videos. Read more »

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City is the sixth game in the infamous Grand Theft Auto series of open world action games. The game was originally released on the PC and the consoles back in 2002.

Apple’s now infamous attempt at designing its own maps and navigation application has some analysts predicting they may need outside help to stop the bleeding.
Dutch-based GPS navigation company TomTom is considered the most likely candidate, and as a result TomTom stock has jumped by 5.65% in anticipation of the takeover. Read more »
If you have the Microsoft SkyDrive app on your iOS device, you may have noticed that it hasn’t been updated since June. It’s not because Microsoft hasn’t been working on an update for the app but because Apple has been holding it back.
The reason for this is due to a major change Microsoft has added to the SkyDrive app in the form of a subscription model that lets users upgrade their storage by purchasing extra storage space. Rovio has just announced its latest Angry Birds installments will be released for the older generation Windows Phone devices. Angry Birds Space and Angry Birds Star Wars will be hitting the WP7 Store any moment now. Meanwhile, the original Angry Birds title will be getting an update to celebrate its third birthday.
Both games will be compatible with all Windows Phone 7.5 or later running smartphones, no matter their specs. Rovio says Nokia helped bring the games to those that only have 256 MB of RAM. Read more »
Twitter and Instagram haven’t been the best of pals lately. After the latter was acquired by Facebook, Instagram quietly pulled the ability to display image previews on Twitter, making people view the images on their own new site.
Since then, there have been rumors that Twitter might introduce a newer version of its own official app for iOS and Android, that adds the ability to use image filters for photos taken within the app before uploading them. And the update has now become official. Read more »
It’s no secret that Apple’s new Maps application that debuted with iOS 6 has been an unmitigated failure. Outside of a few key locations in the US, the mapping data has been woefully inaccurate in most places around the world and although it is improving, it’s still pretty bad.

Splice, as the developer likes to call it, is an experimental and artistic puzzler. The game has been out on the iPad, Steam and Mac App Store for a while but made its Android debut through the Humble Bundle 4 for Android.
