Razer ‘Kazuyo’ gamepad for iPhone 5/5s leaks

Ever since Apple announced support for gamepads in iOS 7, we have been seeing a few designs that have been made for the iPhone 5 and the 5s. There is the MOGA Ace Power gamepad that snaps around your iPhone, along with the new Logitech PowerShell.

‘Assassin’s Creed Pirates’ for iOS and Android game review

It’s not uncommon for developers to release a companion game on mobile whenever they release a major title on the consoles. These mobile versions often share the same name but offer nowhere near the same experience, with a different, watered-down version of the story and gameplay found on the console version.

Following the release of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, Ubisoft has released a companion game called Assassin’s Creed Pirates on iOS and Android, with a Windows Phone 8 version coming later. Google and Facebook are leaders in the US smartphone usage game

According to the firm’s research users in the US are mostly accessing on Google and Facebook through their smartphones. Google takes the top spot with a huge 88.0%, while Facebook is close in second with 84.4%. Read more »

‘The Wolf Among Us’ for iOS game review

The Wolf Among Us is a point and click action game based on the Fables comic book series. Created by Telltale Games, the same people who made the excellent ‘The Walking Dead’ series of games, The Wolf Among Us got rave reviews when it was launched on the PC and consoles a few months back.

WhatsApp updated for iOS 7

Despite its massive popularity, WhatsApp has been particularly laggard in updating its apps for new designs. So now three months after Apple released iOS 7, WhatsApp finally got around to releasing a design revision for the new OS.

As you can imagine, the new app uses the minimal white design inherent to iOS 7. You also get the new set of icons and the chat bubbles have been made flatter and less glossy.
