Kim Dotcom’s file hosting service MEGA now has an official app for Android called, well, MEGA. The app isn’t new per se – MEGA just acquired one of the top third party apps, which is a wise move instead of developing your own app.

The MEGA app should be familiar to those who have used apps for other file hosting services before. You can manage your account, create folders, upload and download files, move, rename or delete them, search for them or even share them. A vulnerability in Android that exists from Android 1.6 Donut, allows you modify any signed application into a Trojan program and steal data or take control of the OS, according to mobile security firm Bluebox.

The San Francisco-based company has found out the security glitch present in Android affects 99% of the devices and the company claims to have informed the Google developers about the flaw in the OS. Read more »

The white color variant of the Google Nexus 4 was officially made available in few selected markets that included Hong Kong, Asia, North America, Europe and the Middle East. Surprisingly, the stocks of the White Nexus 4 are already sold out and the white variant of the Nexus 4, which seems to be a limited edition will no longer be available on the Google Play Store.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE-A edition with the Snapdragon 800 chip inside is understandable getting the attention of all benchmark-loving geeks. The smartphone was already put through its paces in a couple of benchmarks last week, but today, another batch of benchmarks has surfaced showing what the Adreno 320 GPU is capable of.

The benchmarks that were used are GFX Bench 2.7, Epic Citadel, AnTuTu 3D, and 3DMark benchmark, The Wi-Fi adapter in the phone was put through some testing as well to see if supports higher speeds than its Snapdragon 600 and Octa variations. Read more »

The Sony Xperia Honami is expected to be Sony’s foray back into the cameraphone business and leaked software gives us a peek of what to expect. XDA-Developers member krabappel2548 has ported the camera app to the Sony Xperia Z, Xperia ZL and Xperia Tablet Z.

Ever since the Google Glass shipped to developers, Google has been steadily improving it with new updates released every month. In the latest update, Google has introduced several new features which makes the device a lot more usable.

The biggest addition in this update is the presence of a full web browser. Now you can do web search and also open the links in the built-in web browser. To scroll through page, just swipe your finger on the side. You can zoom into the page by sliding using two fingers and if you want to pan around, just hold down using two fingers and turn your head around and the focus would move accordingly on the page.
