Good news for all Angry Birds fans, a new Rio episode, called Airfield Chase, has gone live and it brings the first half of the 30 new levels.
The update is now available for the iOS users via the Apple App Store and the Android ones via the Amazon App Store. I guess the update will become available in the Android Market a week later, as usual. Read more »

Nokia shares jumped over 10 percent today (from €3.70 up to €4.09) after the news about Google acquiring Motorola Mobility. All this boosted the speculations that Nokia is being once again targeted for a takeover.
Nokia hasn’t been doing all that well recently with their shares down by 45 percent just this year, due to the poor financial results of the Finnish company. This has reduced the price and has made Nokia easier to acquire by companies such as Microsoft and Samsung (as the rumors have it). Read more »
Do you remember that news about the LG Optimus Black running Windows Phone 7? Well, as many of you guessed it, it’s faker than fake. The phone is not running WP7, but a specially created prank demo app that just looks like it – it’s not even a full featured launcher.

SPB Software has released a new version of its SPB Shell 3D interface for Android. In addition to the 3D interface with panes and the 3D dynamic widgets, SPB has added lots of other awesome goodies.

Apple has released the fourth iOS 5 beta version. For the first time you can get it as a OTA update (133MB) in addition to the standard download and install process via iTunes.

GSMA has just announced it has decided on the city to host the Mobile World Congress from 2013 to 2018. It’s once again Barcelona, Spain. As you might have heard, GSMA had to decide between four cities – Barcelona, Paris, Milan and Munich. The MWC 2012 was supposed to be Barcelona’s last one but it seems the city once again came up with the best bid.
There will be some changes though. Starting 2013, the MWC will be held at a new venue – the Fira de Barcelona Gran Via. Judging by the few photos we found, the new fairgrounds look awesome and we can’t wait to see the new place in two years. Read more »

Corning has officially announced the recently released Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 comes with Gorilla Glass.

A few leaked blurry pictures revealed a still unannounced slider heading to Verizon. They are all about the Samsung SCH-i405, supposed to expand the Galaxy S II lineup later this year.
The SCH-i405 is an LTE-capable droid with a WVGA Super AMOLED Plus (possibly) display, a sliding-out hardware QWERTY keyboard, a 5 megapixel rear and a 1.3 megapixel front cameras and 2GB ROM. Read more »
