Oppo Find 7a is capable of capturing up to 180 degrees panorama shots and the resulting images have up to 15MP resolution. Acer unveiled two new tablets today – the Wi-Fi-only Iconia Tab 7 and the 3G-enabled Iconia One 7. Both slates will go on sale in May on bargain prices.

Acer Iconia Tab 7 will be actually sold in two different versions depending on the market. Iconia Tab 7 A1-713 features a 7″ LCD display of 1024×600 pixel resolution, a 2MP rear camera and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. Android 4.4 KitKat update will be seeded later this year though. Read more »

The original Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 slate was released in August, 2012, initially running on Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich. Samsung released only one firmware update during the past two years flavoring the tablet with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean OS.

Nowadays there are already two new Note tablets – Note 10.1 2014 Edition and Note Pro 12.2, but as it turns out the pioneer was not forgotten. A leaked official test firmware suggests Samsung is almost ready to release an official Android 4.4 KitKat update for the original Galaxy Note 10.1. Read more »

We already said in our Windows Phone 8.1 review that the OS feels smoother than its predecessor, but is it really? Here is another teaser for our upcoming Nokia X review – benchmark scores! We were able to make some tests shortly after the Nokia X was announced on the MWC in Barcelona, but this time around we can finally run all benchmarks on a retail-ready unit.

The Nokia X is powered by a dual-core 1GHz Cortex-A5 processor coupled with half a gig RAM, which should be barely enough to run a standard Android Jelly Bean version. Luckily Nokia has done some great work optimizing the Android OS and its proprietary launcher, so the final OS is relatively smooth and snappy, with almost no visible lag. Nexus 10 is back in the Google Play Store and is listed as coming soon. Apparently a new stock of units will be arriving soon and will become available for purchase shortly.

The Samsung-made Nexus 10 went out of stock in last fall and has since vanished from the Play Store. There were speculations a new LG-made generation of Nexus 10 is in the works, but nothing was officially disclosed to date. Read more »
