Microsoft is working hard on the much anticipated launch of the Windows 10 operating system. The software giant has announced it will make Windows 10 available across 190 countries and in 111 different languages. No specific date has been revealed yet, though.

With over 1.5 billion users around the globe, Microsoft aims to make Windows 10 a desirable upgrade. Google has opened registration for the 2015 edition of its I/O developer conference, which is scheduled to take place on May 28 and May 29 in San Francisco. The successor to the Apple Watch will be launched later this year, and unlike its predecessor, it will not require an iPhone to work, according to analyst Timothy Arcuri from Cowen & Co. He also said that the wearable might feature an OLED screen exclusively supplied by Samsung.

As for the first generation Apple Watch, which is set to go on sale next month on April 24th, Arcuri said that the iPhone maker is still facing yield issues with the device, predicting that the company will be able to build only 6 million units by June. Facebook has just announced the latest feature addition for its Messenger app – support for quickly sending money to your contacts. The company hopes you’ll use its solution for this purpose instead of other options like PayPal.

For years, Nintendo has been adamantly avoiding the mobile platform, refusing to bring its much loved collection of games from its own consoles to the massive mobile market despite all the demand.

But it seems that the company has changed its mind. Nintendo has partnered with DeNA to make new games for the mobile platform. This means these will be new properties and not existing games such as Super Mario Bros. or Legend of Zelda ported from existing Nintendo consoles, but will feature Nintendo’s characters. Google Now, or to be specific, the Google Search app on your Android phone will now let you send messages over Hangouts simply using your voice.

In the latest feature to be enabled server side, Google Search app now includes Hangouts integration. So now you can just say “Okay Google” followed by “Send a Hangouts message” and then your message. It will then ask you whom you want to send the message to followed by your message before you can send it. Read more »

Motorola rolled out an update for its Gallery app for Android. As expected, the new Motorola Gallery brings Material Design user interface tweaks that play nice with Android Lollipop.
