Evasi0n’s jailbreak has been one of the most popular tools to jailbreak any Apple device. The recently launched jailbreak tool for iOS 6.x had been used to hack more than 7 million iOS devices in just about four days and the tool now runs on over 14 million Apple devices.

A newly discovered vulnerability on Samsung Galaxy devices, allows you to bypass the lock screen. The security breach lets you have a sneak peak at the home screen of the smartphone and the flaw does not expose any sensitive data on the device.

ASUS has been remarkably quick in the past year or so in rolling out Android updates for its devices. Now the Taiwanese company has become the first to roll out the elusive Android 4.2 update for its Transformer Pad TF300T tablet.

You may be familiar with the Opera Turbo functionality, first seen in the Opera Mobile web browser, that compressed some of the data on a web page, such as images using proxy servers and then sent that to your client, thereby reducing the data consumption on your device. This functionality was later adopted in the desktop version of Opera as well.

The Lightning Digital AV adapters is designed to support full 1080p HD display but the tests revealed that the device’s maximum and optimum resolution was only 1600×900 pixles. Popular cloud-based note taking service Evernote experienced a security breach, where the company confirms it lost information such as usernames, associated email addresses and passwords to the hackers. No data, however, was said to be lost or changed and no payment information was accessed.
Even though the passwords were encrypted, the company is not taking any chances and is requiring users to reset their password before logging in again to their accounts.
