Google has added two new voice commands to the Search app on Android that will let you launch the camera on your phone or tablet using just your voice.
If you need to take a picture, all you have to do is hit the microphone button or say “Ok Google” and then say the voice command “Take a picture”. If you want to record a video, say “Record a video” instead. If you think this is not very useful, then you are absolutely right.
The Samsung Gear 2 and Gear Fit were unveiled in Taiwan today, and so were their prices.
The Gear 2 will run you $299, and the Gear Fit will cost $199.

Google’s smart HDMI stick Chromecast, which turns any HDMI-capable TV into a smart TV with streaming capabilities from Youtube, Netflix, Hulu, and Google Play movies among others, has become officially available outside of the US.
The device goes on sale today in the UK, Canada, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland, with localized streaming services for many of those countries.
Samsung unveiled a new mirrorless camera and it’s tiny – the Samsung NX mini is 22.5mm thick and its metal body weighs 158g. It may be tiny, but it’s smart – the NX mini a smart camera to boot, though Samsung is mum on the OS (it’s most likely Tizen).
With a 3” flip up screen, the NX mini is a selfie-taking machine.
Samsung’s Gear 2 line of smartwatches was unveiled at MWC last month running on Tizen OS and providing calling, messaging and notification capabilities from a paired Galaxy smartphone.

Sony has revealed a new virtual reality system, called ‘Project Morpheus’, exclusively for use with the PlayStation 4 console. Project Morpheus, which has been in development for over three years, is similar in concept to the Oculus Rift and will immerse the players in the game world by strapping a pair of screens to their eyes and tracking their head movements.
Morpheus has two 960 x 1080 displays inside, one for each eye, which add up to 1920 x 1080 resolution for both eyes with a 90 degree field of view. Just like the Oculus Rift, these stereoscopic displays help enhance the 3D experience and make you feel part of the game.
