Samsung just unveiled the NX3000 smart camera – an interchangeable lens camera with advanced connectivity features. It goes back to relying more on hardware controls than on touchscreen controls, similar to the NX1000.
It has a 20.3MP APS-C sensor that can record 1080p videos, the same basic specs as its two predecessors.
Key-rings haven’t been the focal point of much innovation over the years but a new crowd-sourced campaign is aiming to change that. Dubbed GOkey the device brings a Bluetooth-enabled key locator, an external battery, a USB flash drive and a USB cable (or Lightning if that’s how you roll) into one.
The cool looking piece of tech has a battery of its own, which according to the manufacturer will provide enough juice for two hours of talk time for those emergency cases. It has a built-in cable (either microUSB or Lightning depending on the version) so you won’t need to carry that either.
We have talked about the ISOCELL sensor in the Galaxy S5 in the past, but there are also other aspects of the phone’s camera that Samsung is intent on talking about.
One of them is real-time HDR feature. This lets you see the an HDR version of the image live on the viewfinder, even before you take the photo. This gives an idea of how the photo will look like, even before it is taken.
CyanogenMod added the HTC One (M8) to the lineup of devices which can boot its custom ROMs. Users of HTC’s flagship can now flash CM11 nightly builds from the CyanogenMod download page.
Nightly builds will be available on all versions of the HTC One (M8).

Sony has finally released the second generation slim PS Vita console in the US. As you can guess, it is a slimmer and lighter version of its predecessor with a few other changes.

After Lenovo announced two budget Chromebooks, It’s ASUS’ turn. The company announced two new models of its own, the C200 and the C300, that start at just $250.
C200 has a 11.6-inch display with 1366×768 resolution whereas the C300 maintains that resolution but goes to 13.3-inch. Both models run on Intel Bay Trail-M processor clocked at 2.42GHz, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage, dual-band 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, 1 x USB 2.0, 1 x USB 3.0, HDMI 1.4 and an SD card slot.
Both models will start shipping in North America by the end of June, starting at $250 for the base model.
Google Maps got treated to an update for both Android and iOS. Versions 7.7 and 3.0 of the app for Android and iOS respectively bring new features and welcome tweaks to the platform.
The update sees offline maps officially arrive on Google Maps for iOS.
