According to analyst company NPD Group, Apple isn’t the only one reaping the benefits of surging iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus sales. The report states that iPhone 6 accessory makers have made a total of $249 million over the last two weeks.
That’s 43% increase compared to the first two weeks after the iPhone 6 launch, and it’s hardly surprising. The iPhone 5c and iPhone 5s managed to accumulate $195 million of revenue for the same period with just a 17% spike for the second fortnight since launch. Read more »
Ashton Kutcher is not only an actor, but also a Product Manager at Lenovo and he’s proud of his work on the latest Yoga products that the company unveiled at a special launch event in London. Primarily, Kutcher focuses on the Yoga tablet line-up and the new versatility it offers.
In fact, the new tablets are so versatile, that he literally milks a goat for his cereal while, we assume, he’s playing Goat Simulator on the Yoga Tablet 2. The couple of ads are fun to watch and there’s also a separate video detailing the brainstorming process that went behind the Yoga Tablet 2 Pro. Read more »
Smartwatches fall into two categories – a functionality-first type with square displays and looks-first with round design. An ideal execution of the second type will be an actual watch with a real movement and hands, but also with a display hidden in there somehow.
It’s the “somehow” that’s the crux of the issue but Longshine Technologies thinks it has the answer – a transparent OLED touchscreen. Read more »

In case you are not aware, the whole iPhone ‘Bendgate’ controversy was started when YouTuber Unbox Therapy bent an iPhone 6 Plus into a boomerang on video using just his hands. This sparked a lot of debate, ranging from the validity of these tests (I say these because everyone else started doing them as well) to the legitimacy of the original video. He later did another video in public where he bent another iPhone 6 Plus out on the street on camera.
Since then, there have been a lot of requests to bend other phones, as most people believe it is possible to bend other phones as well. I’m pretty sure by far the most requests would have been to bend the new Galaxy Note 4 on camera, since it is the iPhone 6 Plus’ closest rival, and Unbox Therapy has finally obliged. Read more »
