We are still quite a way from the launch of BlackBerry 10 devices but recently RIM CEO Thorsten Heins was spotted with one of them in public.

At a Lakers game a few days ago, both Thorsten Heins and RIM Senior Vice President, Software Product Management Andrew Bocking were spotted using BB10 phones and taking pictures with them. You can see that the phone Heins is using has the usual BlackBerry sticker on the back that they reserve for test devices but it’s strange seeing the CEO of the company in public using devices that are yet to be announced publicly. Now that the Nexus 4 has finally been released, it will go through the same motions as every other recent major device. There will be the drop tests, torture tests and the infamous “Will it blend?” tests later, but for now we have the iFixit teardown to kick things off.

Back when the iPhone 5 was released, one of the complaints was about the camera, specifically the purple tinting that was observed in some of the photographs. But if you thought this only happens on the iPhone 5′s camera, you are in for a surprise.

Hot on the heels of the mobile Facebook website update, the latest new features arrive to the native Facebook apps for iOS and Android. The two biggest new changes include the option to re-share stories from your news feed and the ability to tag people in status updates, comments and photos.

The Samsung Galaxy S3 has been enjoying Jelly Bean for some time now. But a handful of features that we first saw on the Galaxy Note 2 have been out of reach so far.

The split-screen view mode, for instance, allows big-screen smartphones with plenty of oomph to display too apps at the same time. Today’s good news is that you can now get this and other new features on your Galaxy S3 via a pre-release official firmware.
