Our review of the Huawei Ascend P6 is almost done, but until it pops on our homepage why don’t you check out the smartphone’s battery test. Huawei did manage to make this the world’s slimmest smartphone, but did it come at the expense of battery life?
The Huawei Ascend P6 runs on a somewhat dated quad-core Cortex-A9 processor though Huawei says it did a lot to optimize its consumption. The low-power IPS display should be gentle on the 2000mAh battery as well, but we’ll have to see it to believe it. Read more »
The LG Optimus GJ is a rare midrange smartphone offering that also features IP-certified water resistance. It’s based on LG’s famous Optimus G flagship with a new watertight chassis and a beefier battery.
The Optimus GJ lacks some of the connectivity antennas found on the G, like NFC and LTE, and with the larger battery should have the edge over its flagship predecessor. Read more »
Carrying premium design features is always welcome for any dual-SIM smartphone out there, but the HTC Desire 600 dual sim isn’t just for show. Its main purpose is to be available when needed especially considering its call for double duty.
At first glance the dual-SIM droid from HTC doesn’t seem likely to impress here, as it packs a relatively modest 1860mAh battery. Hopefully, HTC has done the necessary Android and Sense 5 UI optimizations to make the most out of the available juice. Read more »
Huawei Ascend P6 is widely advertised as the world’s slimmest smartphone to date. Indeed there is no thinner smartphone in our database so far and we just had to see it live. And here it is – the Ascend P6 knocking on our office doors.
Huawei Ascend P6 is powered by company’s home-brewed chipset – the K3V2 – featuring a quad-core 1.5GHz Cortex-A9 processor, a 16-core unnamed graphics unit and 2GB of RAM. We’ve already met this configuration within the Ascend Mate phablet and we know it performs very well on a 720p screen. Read more »

LG is storming the Android hill once again with its latest flagship smartphone, the G2. Dropping the Optimus moniker doesn’t mean the company is skimping on features. Powered by the mighty Snapdragon 800 chipset with four Krait 400 cores clocked at 2.3GHz, an Adreno 330 GPU and 2GB of RAM, the LG G2 simply blows the competition out of the water in terms of processing prowess.
However, does it manage to keep the same sort of performance going in the other departments? That’s what we are going to see right here in one of our traditional comparison tables. We’ve put the LG G2 against the Samsung Galaxy S4 and the HTC One to if G2 does indeed fall short somewhere or if it will produce a clean sweep. Read more »

The HTC One mini inherits one of the best designs of a smartphone ever, but it will be just a pretty paperweight if its battery runs out too quickly. It has a 1,800mAh Li-Po battery, compared to the 2,300mAh battery of the HTC One, but how that affects real-life performance.
The tinnier battery has to feed a smaller, lower res screen (4.3″ 720p vs. 4.7″ 1080p) and a smaller CPU and GPU, so we are not really sure what to expect here. Read more »
Want some of the premium HTC One features, but you can’t afford its premium price tag? Fret not, HTC has got you covered with the Desire 600 dual sim.

The Sony Xperia ZR is the little brother of the Xperia Z and Xperia ZL, and boasts pretty much every key specification they have. The major is the 4.55″ 720p display, which should be kinder to the equally large 2300 mAh battery inside the phone.
Identical chipsets and batteries plus a smaller screen of lower resolution give the Xperia ZR every chance of beating its premium rivals. Read more »
The RHA MA450i headphones are the British company’s top end in-ear offering. The headset has been developed to play nice with Apple devices and sports an aluminum construction alongside an affordable price tag – a great combination in my book.
