“Join the hunt for Golden Eggs!” is Rovio’s slogan appearing in the latest Angry Birds Season commercial. There are golden eggs, Indiana Jones styled font, a really angry bird and… a space shuttle.
Nokia has teamed up with Rovio to bring an exclusive Angry Birds Magic game on the NFC-capable Nokia Astound and C7 (after the functionality gets unlocked). The free version of the game contains 20 levels, 15 of which are unlocked only via NFC communication with another device.
In case you didn’t know, Nokia wants to make it clear that the Nokia C7 has a NFC chip built right in and they plan to unleash it soon, probably with the Symbian Anna update.

The RIM’s universe is expanding today as the first BlackBerry tablet hits the shelves across the USA and Canada. You can get it through various retailers starting from $500 for the Wi-Fi only version.

A few weeks ago I told you about some new Windows 8 screenshots illustrating the tablet-oriented Metro UI. Until now it was not clear whether we are going to see this user interface elsewhere or not. You’d better like the Metro UI because it will stick around for a while.

Do you remember the rumors about a better flash on the Japanese version of the XPERIA Arc – the Acro? Well, the Acro’s official presentation has just leaked and it shows a single LED flash at the back – just like the international Arc.

There is nothing particularly special about the phone you are about to see except that each unit has a unique rear panel made of real wood. Whoa, that and the unusual pebble design, I mean. It’s really something and you should definitely have a look at it, even though it will probably never make it your country (unless you live in Japan). But I have to admit its 3 minute-long ad is quite impressive.

Sony Ericsson came up with another brilliant way to advertise its new XPERIA lineup starting with an Arc video. They replaced all windows and windshields with tin sheets and then cut three holes for the XPERIA Arc screens.

In the past few days we stumbled upon leaked pictures of the Japanese version of XPERIA Arc called Acro. We decided to pass that news since it was headed to NTT DoCoMo only.

Atari has just unleashed its Greatest Hits app, which offers 18 arcade classics and 82 Atari 2600 titles. The app is available for a free download and comes with one free game – Pong, of course.
The available games come in packs of four and each package costs a dollar. In case you want them all you’ll have to pay the bulk price of $15.
The Samsung Galaxy S IIlanded in our office just yesterday and the first thing we did was to take it for a spin. Today we got some wonderful weather and we took it outside to take a few camera samples and a some 1080p videos.
