Crytek’s senior lightning artist leaks breathtaking Crysis 3 screenshots

by 64 comments

Crysis has always been famous with its awesome graphics and expectations have always been tremendous. The first game was a breakthrough in the PC graphics, but the second one couldn’t quite achieve the same heights due to its multi-platform nature. Still, Crysis 2 remained an amazing looking game and we were curious to see what its successor will look like.

On this year’s E3 Crytek showed a short but stunning demo of Crysis 3 in action. Today a few screenshots of the demo’s Canyon environment leaked for us to feast our eyes on. Read more »

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 Note new specs revealed

by 52 comments

Samsung is obviously finding it hard to keep the revamped Galaxy Note 10.1 under wraps. The slate was announced back on the MWC in February, but never made it to the shelves and was returned to the company’s R&D center for a specs overhaul instead.

It was just yesterday when we saw the Galaxy Note 10.1 S-Pen ad on YouTube. Today, some lucky guy from Korea managed to get a retail Galaxy Note 10.1 unit and was kind enough to share the unboxing pictures and the official specs of the slate with the rest of us. Read more »

Apple and Samsung had another round in the Dusseldorf’s Higher Regional Court that ended up badly for the Galaxy Tab 7.7.

by 29 comments

An official video ad of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 was uploaded on YouTube. It focuses on the S-Pen input and unfortunately reveals nothing, but the supposedly retail design.

The Galaxy Note 10.1 was initially announced at the MWC in February and was supposed to be powered by a dual-core Exynos chipset. Later, though, Samsung decided to delay the tablet and equip it with a better CPU. Read more »

by 90 comments

One of the hottest mobile games of this summer – Dead Trigger – is now free on Android’s Play Store. This is not a limited time promotion, nor has the developer implemented in-game ads to make up for drop in price.

The reason is something Android has been blamed since its dawn – the piracy rate. Read more »

Meizu MX 4-core shines in front of our camera, flexes its quad-core muscle on video

by 21 comments

Meizu MX 4-core is company’s second phone we have the pleasure to review. It looks exactly like the dual-core Meizu MX, but adds two additional Cortex-A9 CPU cores and a more powerful GPU to bump the performance.

The Meizu MX 4-core runs on the so-called Flyme OS 1.0 which is based on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The customizations run a lot deeper than any other UI we’ve seen, but they cut off features instead of adding new. Read more »

This might be the Samsung Galaxy S III coolest video ad yet

by 82 comments

Samsung is getting really good in advertising its products. Cool TV ads, promotional booths around the world, awesome announcement events, etc.

Nowadays the effort is mostly focused on the Galaxy S III and, naturally, so is the Samsung’s newest video. Featuring David Beckham and flirting with the S III official Olympics phone status, it may be its best commercial up to date. Read more »

Google Nexus 7 shipments in the US to begin in three to five days

by 14 comments

Google’s first tablet – the Nexus 7 – is just about to become available in the USA. The slate is available on the Office Depot website and the seller promises to bring it to your doorstep in 3-5 business days.

There’s a chance that this might be an error or a simple publicity stunt by the retailer, as other stores still list the Nexus 7 as unavailable and Google’s own page says shipping soon. Still five days from now would be July 16, which aligns nicely with the mid-July release promised at the Galaxy Nexus 7 announcement event. Read more »
