Samsung introduced a variety of accessories for the Galaxy S4 shortly after the official announcement in New York last week – a wireless charging pad, covers and protective cases, battery kits and even a game pad.
You can now pre-order that last one in the US for $113. The Samsung Game Pad is officially said to support phones with screen size between 4 and 6.3 inches fueling the rumors of Galaxy Note III with a 6.3″ big screen. Read more »

Do you remember last year’s Smoked by Windows Phone marketing campaign? Microsoft surely put great effort back then to show the Windows Phone OS was easier and faster to operate than its competitors. Back then the users had to perform various tasks like checking the weather or taking a picture and uploading it to Facebook faster than a Lumia phone and, usually, failed.

The official online Sony store in the UK is now taking pre-orders for the Wi-Fi-only version of the Xperia Tablet Z. The 16GB model is available only in black color (for now) and costs £399.

It was just yesterday Apple released the iOS 6.1.3 update to address the lockscreen passcode bypass issue. Unfortunately, there is another work-around that will still give you access to the Phone app without entering the pass code.
To make this work though, all you need is a SIM ejecting tool or a paperclip. The good news is you can make your iPhone immune to this workaround by simply disabling voice dial in your passcode lock settings screen. Read more »

Sony has just announced the premium mid-ranger Xperia SP. It has a 4.6-inch 720p display and is powered by a dual-core 1.7GHz Krait processor and the Adreno 320 graphics.

The Koreans just released a few dozen photos that should help you get a taste of the atmosphere. HTC One has just arrived at our office and is here to stay for a review. The HTC flagship is supposed to feature some advanced camera tech behind those 4 million+ ultrapixels, so the first thing we did was a quick impromptu shootout.
Unlike most of its competitors, the HTC One bets on fewer, but bigger size pixels on its image sensor, rather than many tiny ones. In theory this should allow it to shoot photos that have less digital noise and more dynamic range. But of course, you have got to remember that when you downsize a say, 13MP photo down to 4MP it also visibly decreases the digital noise.
Anyway, we would refrain from passing a judgement at this stage (we’ll save that for the full-featured review), but here are several comparison shots of the HTC One and the Sony Xperia Z, which has a rather densely packed 13MP camera sensor, featuring one of the smallest pixel sizes currently used in flagship products. Samsung released a few commercials over the last two months advertising the security environment of Galaxy S III, Note II and Note 10.1. Obviously those ads targeted the corporate clients, but they all have one thing in common – the mysterious Unicorn Apocalypse game.
