Mophie launched its Space pack battery case with added storage for the iPhone in the beginning of 2014, but only for the U.S. Now, the case maker is making the jump across the pond and is launching its popular case in the UK as well.

Reports out of China indicate that Apple is heading towards automation of the iPhone battery production, resulting in one less labor-intensive iPhone assembly process.

Today Apple announced the availability of an 8GB iPhone 5c. The flavor is already available for purchase and costs €549 – just €50 less than its 16GB sibling. This is quite unattractive pricing considering the phone comes with year and a half old hardware and still costs good €100 more than the 32GB Samsung Galaxy Note 3.

Last year, Microsoft released a version of Office for the iOS platform but it wasn’t what everyone had expected. For starters, it was only available on the iPhone and not the iPad where it would be more suitable and secondly, it was a free app that was limited to only those who had an Office 365 subscription.
Microsoft will now be rectifying the first problem by unveiling the iPad version of the ‘Office Mobile for Office 365 subscribers’ on March 27 at an event in San Francisco. Rovio has released the latest installment in the popular Angry Birds series of games, called the Angry Birds Epic. Although based on the same characters that we have been seeing for the past several Angry Birds games, this one is actually an RPG title and not the usual bird-flinging action game.
As is the case with RPG games, you have a lot of flexibility with your weapons and abilities. You can craft your weapons and unlock and upgrade your abilities, including character, armor, weapons and potions, as the game progresses. Today Apple slashed its iPhone return period from 30 days to 14 days. The policy change applies to iPhones bought from both Apple’s online and brick and mortar Stores.
Other than the shorter period for returning the product, Apple has made no other changes to the conditions. The iPhone you plan to return in that time frame has to be undamaged and include all of the original accessories. Read more »

Google has released a new update for the Gmail app for iOS. The latest version brings with a much requested feature: background refresh. This feature takes advantage of the new APIs in iOS 7 and will refresh and keep your inbox updated in the background, so when you launch the app it will be up to date.
Another addition is one-click login. A lot of the Google apps on iOS have one-click login, which means when you log into one Google app, the other Google apps will just borrow that data and will allow you to login with just one click instead of having to sign in separately. Read more »
