The LG G Pro 2 camera introduces the so-called Magic Focus mode, which works in a manner similar to Nokia’s Refocus. It captures several shots of the same scene with different focus and then lets you do the blurred background effect that smartphones normally fail to produce.

Samsung is preloading lots of value-adding apps and services on its latest top-tier devices. First we saw those premium software packages on the latest Tab Pro and Note Pro slates and now the Galaxy S5 is getting an even better treatment.

Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 is running on the rather low-consumption Snapdragon 400 chipset with four 1.2GHz low-powered Cortex-A7 processor. Even though the SoC may save you some power juice, the big 5.25″ screen estate that has to be lit up won’t be generous with the 2,600 mAh battery.

Samsung Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo went official just three days ago, running on a Tizen-based OS. This time around though Samsung has confirmed both smartwatches will support third-party apps.
