Just a few weeks before the launch of Apple Watch, documents have been leaked detailing how Apple will handle the sales of the wearable. As per the documents, that were obtained by MacRumours, the Cupertino-based company will not be selling the device to walk-in customers at launch.
Customers will instead be required to make an online “Product Reservation” to hold or pick-up a specific model of the smartwatch at a retail store. “If a customer walks in and wants to purchase a watch, offer the option to try on a watch. Then help them place an order online or through the Apple Store app,” the documents say. Read more »
The UK Court of Appeal has denied search giant Google’s request to block lawsuits from Apple Safari users in Britain over alleged privacy violations.
“These claims raise serious issues which merit a trial.” the court said. “They concern what is alleged to have been the secret and blanket tracking and collation of information, often of an extremely private nature… about and associated with the claimants’ internet use, and the subsequent use of that information for about nine months. The case relates to the anxiety and distress this intrusion upon autonomy has caused.” Read more »

The court also set a fine of $270,000 for each violation of the order. Read more »
