Apple managed to one-up all expectations today by unveiling not one, but two new iPads – the iPad mini and the 4th gen 10-inch iPad. The new 10-incher succeeds and immediately replaces the 3rd gen iPad, which has been selling for barely seven months now.
Both the new iPads will be available this holiday season in all the countries in this long list.
The Wi-Fi versions of the new iPads will be available for pre-order this Friday (Oct. 26) and will be shipping as early as next week, starting on November 2. Read more »
As per tradition Apple has released a promotion video for its newly announced iPad mini.

For the Mac mini you can now choose between dual-core i5 and quad-core i7 processors, up to 16GB RAM, up to two 1TB hard drives or 256GB SSD. Wi-Fi n connectivity and Bluetooth 4.0 are also on board. Read more »
Apple has officially announced its 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display, confirming earlier rumors.
Just as its name suggests, the latest 13-inch MacBook Pro comes with a ultra-high resolution 2,560 x 1,600 pixels IPS display (232 ppi pixel density) boasting 300 nits brightness and 75 percent less reflections that its predecessor. Read more »
After the mediocre and rather dull Quantum of Solace, Daniel Craig is back as James Bond in his third Agent 007 movie called Skyfall.
But don’t think for a moment that 007 has lost his touch. In Skyfall you’re brought to a blood-fizzing action scene from the get-go, reminding you what Bond is capable of. Luckily, this isn’t the only brilliant Casino Royale-like action sequence, the director Sam Mendes (Jarhead, Revolutionary Road, American Beauty) treats us to in Skyfall.

As a welcome break of tradition, Apple is going to offer live streaming of its iPad mini event tonight. The company will let you become a part of the unveiling of its latest product through its web site or, if you happen to own one, through Apple TV.
As you probably know by now, Apple is going to hold an event, which starts tonight at 17:00 GMT and should see the introduction of the first 7.85” iOS tablet, probably called iPad mini. Last night (in Europe) an outage in Amazon Web Services on the US East Coast caused disruption of some major online services that we all use and love. Websites and apps such as Reddit, Airbnb, Flipboard, and Viber have all been non-responsive. The outage has been felt the worst by users in Asia and the US, where the downtime was actually running through the day.
A member of the collective hacker group called Anonymous went public on Twitter to claim responsibility. Later on, an Amazon spokesperson stated this is not the case and Amazon servers had not been under attack. Read more »
Dropbox pushed a much needed update to their iOS app on Apple’s Appstore. The new version not only makes full use of the iPhone 5 taller screen, but also has done away with the previous photo size limitation when printing pics or saving them to the Camera Roll from the app.

The Nokia Lumia 510 aims to be the company’s most affordable Lumia handset, but still bring excellent features like a 4″ screen and a 5MP autofocus wide angle amera. It will run Windows Phone 7.5 at first (complete with Nokia Drive navigation), but it should get the WP7.8 update too.

LG is very proud of the work it has done with the Optimus G. The quad-core powerhouse, as it was earlier confirmed will even be the base for the next Nexus device from Google.
