Google Wallet users have been able to scan credit cards with their device’s camera for a while now, and it looks like Apple is getting their feet wet with the mobile payment game as well.
Well, it’s a step closer, at least. iPhone users can now scan their credit cards with their cell phone’s camera in iOS 8. There are some restrictions however, learn more about the features after the jump.

We already have phones and tablets pushing Quad HD resolutions so it was only a matter of time before someone managed to shoehorn a 4K UHD display into a tablet. During the French Open at Roland Garros, Qualcomm had an unnamed Samsung tablet with a 4K display.
The device in question was a prototype and meant to showcase the LTE Broadcast but it was certainly running a 12.2-inch, 4K display. The design was almost identical to many of the current Samsung Galaxy tablets. On the inside, it was said to be running the Qualcomm 801 SoC.
Samsung is all set to announce its next generation Galaxy Tab S. The event will be held on Thursday, June 12 in New York City in Madison Square Garden.
The focus so far has been on the display on this tablet. The Galaxy Tab S is said to have a 2560 x 1600 resolution Super AMOLED display in 8.4-inch and 10.5-inch sizes. On the inside, the Galaxy Tab S will be running an octa-coreExynos 5420 SoC, 3GB of RAM, 8 megapixel rear camera, 2.1 megapixel front camera, 32GB internal memory, fingerprint sensor and Android 4.4.2 KitKat.

When we discussed some of the best new features in iOS 8, we did mention that there will be a lot more in the OS that Apple forgot to mention and will be revealed as people use the OS. One such new feature (for iOS) that has come to light is the presence of FaceTime audio conference calls.

Well it looks like big Sammie has elected to go back to putting AMOLED units on their upcoming Galaxy S line of tablets.
A leaked ad, reportedly belonging to US retailer Target the iPad mini first generation will likely drop 33% to just $199 for a day – this coming Sunday, June 8.
The ad says that stock is limited so you might need to hurry up if you want to get a portable iOS slate for the good price. Other retailers like Walmart and BesBuy have the slate either out of stock or going for a higher price.
While the Sony Xperia Z2 solidified its position as in-house top dog with a more powerful Snapdragon 801 chip and 3 GB of RAM many an Xperia Z1 and Z1 Compact owner wished to get some of its features like 4K video recording and Timeshift 720p@120 fps slow motion recording.

Ever since the Xbox One released, PC gamers have been asking Microsoft to be able to use the new controller with their machines. The Xbox 360 controller has been available for PC for years now and it is one of the best controllers ever made but the new Xbox One controller is even better, so naturally people wanted to use it with their PC.
Up until now, there was no way to use the new controller with Windows due to a lack of drivers but Microsoft has taken care of that issue. Director of Programming for Xbox Live, Larry Hryb, more commonly known as Major Nelson, posted on his blog drivers that you can download on your PC to enable support for the new controller.
Announced during this year’s CES, the Asus PadFone X for AT&T finally got its pricing and launch date detailed. The high-end Android KitKat phone and its 9” docking station will be available to purchase tomorrow for $199.99 with a two-year contract, or $22.92 per month with AT&T Next 18 plan.
